Summary:
Newly renovated 4 BR, 4 BA Condo that is Ski In/Ski Out!

The Space:
The open floor plan and windows on the first floor create a warm and inviting living space with tons of natural light and exceptional views.  This remodeled 4BR, 4BA condo located in the Dogwood building in the Paradise Condos, has a fabulous kitchen equipped with new appliances, large stone countertops, new cabinets and a farm style sink.  The Paradise condos are considered ski in/out, based on snowfall.  Simply exit the building and walk or ski behind the San Moritz condos and then hit the slopes above West Wall Lodge.  Slope access and conditions are dependent on snow fall. 

The dining room has seating for 8 at the table and two more at the kitchen island.  The cozy living room has a gas fireplace for added warmth and ambiance as well as a sliding glass door which leads out to a west facing deck that is perfect for watching the sun set over the mountains.  The smart TV has a satellite subscription.  New flooring, lighting and furniture make this space so inviting.

There are two bedrooms on this floor, one with a king sized bed and the other with two twins.  These both have full sized, remodeled bathrooms separate from the bedrooms.  The room with the king has a sliding door which leads to the west facing deck. There is also a washer/dryer on this floor.  

Upstairs has a loft with an open sitting area with a large desk for work or puzzle space as well as a full sized pull out couch.  There are two bedrooms upstairs one with a king sized bed and the other with two twin beds.  These both have their own full baths, one with a tub.  

Hunter Douglas blinds throughout the condo provide privacy and room darkening in the bedrooms.  There is a communal bike storage area in the basement on the ground floor where you can hang and secure your bike with your own lock.  Entry to the condo is through an internal hallway which leads to two flights of stairs to an internal front door.  This access is shared.  We are positive this lovely condo with be pleasing for your vacation, whatever season you choose to visit.
You do have to climb two sets of stairs to access the condo. No elevator at this property.

You can enjoy the community hot tub just below your building. The hot tub is open seasonally.  It is normally open the entire ski season.  It closes after the ski season ends til about the 3rd week of June and will remain open through the summer and into September.  If you are coming in our Fall shoulder season (Sept-Nov) you might ask if it will be open if its important to you.  A communal grill is available in the hot tub area.  If the hot tub is open, the grill is available on a first come first served basis.

All of our kitchens are fully stocked with pots, pans, cookware and utensils. While most properties have salt, pepper, and basic cooking pantry items, we do not guarantee these will be available upon arrival.

This complex cannot allow trailers as parking is tight.  With that said, there are only 2 designated parking spaces available-one outside the unit and the other one in the overflow parking lot located below the building.  These both have signs designating parking for the unit.  Parking passes are available in the condo.

This condo is on the bus route in the winter, which will take you to the base area.  The bus picks up every hour at the base of the parking lot.  You can transfer at the Mt. Crested Butte transit center to a free bus that will take you down into the town of Crested Butte.

4 or all wheel drive is suggested in the winter to access the parking lot.

Renters 25 years and older are welcome. Renters less than 25 years of age are welcome with their parent or guardian. 
Please note that we do count all children and infants in the headcount for the property.

This is a pet friendly property. You are welcome to bring one dog and will be charged a separate pet fee at the time of booking.
The HOA is strict with a one dog limit.

Parking:
Parking spaces are very limited and it is important that all guests and owners observe the parking rules and regulations.
All vehicles must have a parking tag which will be issued to you upon check in. A parking tag must be hung on the rear view mirror of each vehicle. Owners have been provided a permanent parking tag for each of their vehicles kept on the property.
All vehicles of guests or owners of Aspen and Cottonwood buildings Must park in their assigned garages or in the lower lot which adjoins the Aspen building. For this unit you must park in both assigned spaces for this condo. One is to the upper left of the Cottonwood building and the other is to the right of the Aspen building.
Observe all signs for restricted and /or prohibited parking areas.
Any vehicle parked on site without a “parking tag” hanging on the rear view mirror or parked in a restricted or prohibited area will be towed. If your vehicle is towed, you will be responsible for all towing charges. The phone number of the towing contractor is 349-7333.

Guest Access:
Check in instructions will be sent to you 3 days prior to arrival at 4 pm MST.

The Neighborhood:
The Paradise condos are located on Hunter Hill Rd. The shuttle stops one an hour at the end of the driveway and can take you to the base area. 4WD or AWD is recommended for getting to your condo. Only 2 cars per condo are allowed. To access the lifts you can walk/ski behind the San Moritz condos that are just North of Paradise and than hit the slopes just above the Westwall Lift.

Getting Around:
It will be easiest if you have a car to get around. You are about 4.5 miles to the Town of Crested Butte and about 3/4 of a mile to the base area of the mountain.

Stayed there for my daughters wedding. Bridal party got ready here and view was beautiful. Large open area. Huge counter. Get 3 different views from all the windows. Very clean. The only difficulty was only having 2 parking spots

Stayed here for three nights while skiing crested butte. Unit is well stocked and clean. The views from the balcony and kitchen windows are beautiful. We were able to walk a short distance to the downhill where we suited up and skied down to the lift- Were able to ski all the way back to the unit. There is only one hot tub for many units but it wasn’t an issue. Short ten minute drive to town. One parking spot right out front of the entrance for easy access. We had a family of 6, all adults. Would recommend! Thank you for a lovely stay!

This was our first time in Crested butte and we were extremely happy. The condo is great, recently updated, and perfectly located on the slopes. You are a short ski down to the West Wall chairlift, and an easy ski home. Short drive to the adorable town. Highly recommend.

Condo was perfect for our gathering. 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Fairly easy to ski-in/ski-out.Shuttle stop to town is directly in front of the condo building. Host was very responsive. We had some trouble with the dish TV reception and the owner worked hard to resolve.

We have stayed at this lovely condo before; the location is perfect for our group. We have many meetings and activities on the mountain that are part of our conference; as well as lots of free time to explore the trails and nearby lakes. The management company is responsive to any needs that we might have.

Everything was very nice and clean Only problem we had was the washer and dryer was broken as we were there for a soccer tournament. They did compensate for that though I would stay they again, it was so convenient having 4 bathrooms.

Overall we had a great experience at this condo. Very comfortable for 8 old guys. Great communication with the management company. The unit was very clean and in really good shape. Not a true ski in - ski out but pretty close to it. Note that this is an older building so there's no elevator. Not a big issue during the stay but it adds a bit of work for moving in and out. Also the grill is across the parking lot and down some stairs - not really usable on a winter night. Overall a very good value.

4 bedrooms and 4 baths for 4 guys is wonderful! Family room is very comfortable. The tv doesn’t seem to be able to connect to WiFi. The kitchen is well stocked for a vacation rental. Location is very nice-a walk to the far end of the hall and up a slight hill and you are skiing!

Comfortable property, updated. Easy to get to the slopes. We enjoyed the hot tub during our stay. Beds were comfortable. We love CB! We go every year, despite living in Summit county ourselves we enjoy the low key atmosphere and short/no lift lines

The condo was very comfortable, clean and well equipped. We did experience a few issues that we reported to the property manager that were dealt with in a timely manner. I just wish that I was an advanced skier in order to take advantage of skiing to the back entrance of our building. My friend is an advanced skier and took advantage of skiing to the back entrance. Instead, I took the free resort shuttle that dropped me at the driveway entrance of the Paradise condo complex. However, I was experienced enough to launch myself from the condo building's back door toward the ski lift. We had an enormous amount of fresh powder snow at the beginning and during our stay which made skiing on the mountain a bit challenging for me. I am an intermediate groomed slope skier. Overall, we did enjoy our time at the Paradise condominiums.

We had an excellent experience here -- plenty of room for our two families (6 total kids). Nice, modern kitchen and comfortable bedrooms. It was also quite easy to get to the lift. Management was also great. When we discovered our coffee pot was cracked, they came out in a snowstorm to bring us a new one. Highly recommend!

Nice condo, not the Ritz, but nice. My wife and I met our two children, their spouses and our grandchildren - 10 in all and we did not feel crowded. Ski out is easy, but ski in is tricky. The path back is via a catwalk with uphill stretches, or down an easy black diamond run. The driveway is steep, 60ft elevation gain in a tenth of a mile, two switchbacks, an 8% grade, definitively need 4wd if it snows. Parking was an issue for us as we arrived from three different locations in three different cars and only two parking places allocated. Perhaps the management companies can develop a methodology whereby unrented units can release their parking places to increase sustainability.

An amazing Crested Butte ski in ski out property with jaw dropping views to the north and west. Easy access to the West Wall lift to access the rest of the mountain lifts. You can literally ski into the condo entrance on the east side of the building. 4 bedrooms and 4 baths, loft area, comfy living room. The balcony view and sitting area provides an awesome place to sip a morning coffee and watch the sun rise against the mountains across the valley. The Kitchen is very well equipped including a coffee grinder to enjoy local roasted beans. The dining table provided a wonderful gathering place for meals and evening family games. The only cons would be the unit needs potholders/oven mits as we found ourselves looking for towels to handle baked items from the oven. Also, the internet access provided about 1 to 2 mbs download and about half that upload. Cell reception with ATT was very strong and provided an alternative to very slow Wi-Fi service. If you use the dryer, you will be startled by what sounds like a fire alarm once the load is dry…not for the faint at heart. All that said, we would absolutely stay here again.
