Customer service at the front desk was disappointing. Given the price point of almost 400 a night, some accommodation or understanding that a family with young kids needed slightly more time (less than 30mins) before checkout at 10am is reasonable. Given the number of rooms that needed cleaning the resulting extra 15mins definitely would not have impacted their operations. I guess in this instance it would have been easier to ask forgiveness than permission.
