A lovely hotel just across the street from the Pantheon. We stayed in a Deluxe Pantheon room and felt like we could touch the Pantheon from our window. The room was tastefully appointed and had a nice amount of storage space. We were welcomed to our room with a bottle of champagne on ice and a fruit basket. A very nice and unexpected touch.
We enjoyed the breakfast which we had included in our rate. It was served in a small but charming room in the basement of the hotel. The breakfast included eggs, bacon, sausage, cheeses, breads, cold cuts, cereals, yogurt, fruit and crepes.
The staff both at breakfast and at the front desk were friendly and helpful.
Besides being right next to the Pantheon, the hotel was also close to the Luxembourg Gardens and not far from Notre Dame. There are several bus lines that stop just a few steps away and 2 Metro lines and an RER line within a few blocks walk. There are also dozens of restaurants, catering to both tourists and locals close by and we had wonderful dinners every night wherever we chose to eat.
We will definitely return to this hotel if we are lucky enough to be able to return to Paris again.
