We had no idea the property was being renovated. Despite that, elevator, hallways, walls, etc were GROSS. In our room, the bed was lumpy & horrible, there was a hole cut in the wall with open wiring, room lock had been taken off, & there was limited amenities. Breakfast was stale bagels (cream cheese was “out”) & cups of cereal. Milk was warm - so awful.
We should get our money back

Hotel Scottsdale worked well for our group coming into town for a golf trip. Rooms were spacious and clean. The updates to the entire space will be great

Had a quick overnight stay here- great location- walked to dinner. Although under construction, rooms were clean and updated.
Would stay here again if we come back!

Yes the place is under renovation but if all the complainers on these reviews had taken the time to read these before booking they would have known this. The managers very accommodating and the place is in a great location walking distance to a couple restaurants and a couple minutes from old town Scottsdale via the local golf cart transport companies. I will stay there again next AZ bike week!

I phoned the reservation desk before I booked and specifically asked if renovations were completed, I was told yes everything was done. The whole hotel is currently under renovations and work was going on outside our room in the morning while we were trying to sleep.
The breakfast area did not have tables or chairs available due to the renovations. Breakfast was very limited.
Hallway carpets were pretty dirty

I understand there’s construction going on but it was too dirty for me. Breathing in paint/dust from the moment walking into the lobby all the way to my room. If there was a notice of construction I would’ve definitely booked somewhere else. The room was a mess it was not vacuumed. There was hair all over the bathroom floor and tub.
