Overpriced for what you get. Nowhere to sit in the room if there are 2 people. One very small low 'cube' type seat and low table - nothing else. Rip off for $352.00 a night.

This hotel was very basic. We were given an accessible room even though we didn’t ask for one. The bathroom was not very appealing as a result. When I went to take a shower there was a number of thick black hairs under the shower curtain which were very off pulling. Housekeeping didn’t arrive until about 4:30 or 5:00pm. Too late to want service. Each time we entered the hotel there were employees at the front desk and other than the first time. We weren’t greeted or acknowledged when we returned. We were on the fourth floor and we had a beautiful view of the lake. We ate at the restaurant one night and the food was good. The restaurant staff were working very hard.

The absolute best Ramada I have ever stayed in. Staff was helpful and pleasant. Our room was clean and had everything we needed and more. Was pleasantly surprised that we had two separate bedrooms that each had their own bathrooms, as I was traveling with a group of 3 friends. And a separate "living area" that had dining chairs, couch, kitchenette, with an amazing view of the lake. I found the breakfast buffet to be expensive even with the VIP benefit for what it was, but that still was not enough to detract from the stay of this beautiful property. There are plenty of places to walk too and the bus stop was conveniently located across the street, we just found other places for breakfast. The location is conveniently located and not a far walk to town. Highly recommend this hotel.

Staff were friendly and the room and property was clean and tidy. Housekeeping seem to do their rounds late in the afternoon which was a difficult time because we were resting before dinner. Unfortunately this meant that our room was only serviced fully once during our stay (3 nights).

Most expensive & disappointing place we stayed during our 2-week trip to New Zealand. For the $$$, they could have provided complimentary breakfast for me & my wife, as many places do, instead of a measly $25 gift card to the hotel restaurant that didn’t even cover one decent breakfast. Also, for the $$$, provide free parking - not only did they charge, but they didn’t even have enough paid parking available. Would recommend looking for another hotel.

Hi Michael,I would recommend reading the property information before booking and get yourself familiar with your VIP Expedia membership perks. You can't expect to get what you don't reserve.I can assure that we have very reasonable rates in the most Expensive NZ tourist destination.

The front desk receptionists went over and above in their friendliness, pleasantness, and helpfulness. The attached restaurant had a somewhat limited menu. I would have preferred a much smaller cheeseburger option for example.

Stayed 3nights…..comfortable room, good location but a steep hill to climb from central town to hotel. Restaurant food was excellent but they kept a door open and everyone was wearing jackets….they did remedy upon asking. The Chef’s food presentation was excellent as were the entrees we enjoyed. Breakfast buffet is excellent. They arranged all of our cabs and we highly recommend Queenstown Taxi Service. We found all taxi services are not created equal in Queenstown. Staff is very accommodating, friendly and professional. Would stay here again.

Room was bright with big windows. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was small and awkward to get in and out of. Check in/check out was quick and easy. There was no obvious opt out of daily room service - no notes to leave towel on racks if you didn't want them changed. My room did not have a do-not-disturb sign. The hotel is at the top of the hill so a bit of hike from town but walking through the park was nice. The bus stop is out the front so very handy to get to the airport and Arrowtown. You can also catch the bus up to avoid the walk up the hill. I didn't have a car but the car park was booked out when I arrived so you would have to try and find a spot in the street. The restaurant next door served up great pizzas.

Like: courtesy and customer service of all the staff 🤩👌 Did not like: Hall floor and elevator floor not clean. Kitchen not well equipped (no chopping block, no large knives and no scisors etc). No such thing as daily housekeeping: missing toilet paper, towels, milk, no bedsheets changed, no vacuum or cleaning in the room although we stayed 5 nights and paid 300$/night! The staff compensated nicely and promptly but we always had to ask… No mountain views from our room but a street view, plus the bar being just below our window, it was loud some evenings. In conclusion, for the price paid, we were disappointed. But the staff at Ramada … just WOW 🤩 A1 ✨🌟✨

Ramada Queenstown offered a modern stay in a great location. It is just a short walk down the hill into the main town and all the fantastic offerings. The property was clean and comfortable. We had an amazing view of the lake as provided by our room upgrade curtesy of Expedia. The room itself lacked extras like cotton pads etc but not a major. We thought the TV could have been slightly bigger for the room provided but otherwise it was a great stay and we would definitely come back in the future.

The hotel is quite modern and customer service is pretty good . However, studio rooms are quite small and hardly any space to keep luggage. There are very few dining options nearby but otherwise location is good.

Stayed at the Ramada Central Hotel for a week . In a 1 bedroom apartment with a view of the lake which was lovely. Staff at the hotel were friendly & helpful. The cafe at the hotel was great & made awesome coffee. It was a short walk into town for shopping & restaurants. I would definitely stay here again

We were greeted at the front desk by a hotel representative who was friendly and informative. We discovered that it is worth it to pay for a room with a washer and a dryer in it. The hotel is at the top of a hill - a walk down it takes you to a central meeting place where buses for tours meet in the morning, and streets where shops, restaurants and tour companies abound. Very convenient and while the accommodations.are slightly older, they are very clean and bright.

Very relaxing stay
Lovely modern room with all the facilities we needed. Parking was $25 per day so we just parked in the local streets when we could. Hotel is in a great location if you are able to walk the hill being just 5 mins from the lakefront in the centre of town. Attached restaurant and bar were OK and on par with town prices. Would definitely use again.
