Avoid unless a spendthrift student

Voordelen: Van service offered to the airport.
Nadelen: Dingy, depressing room at the very top of narrow stairs.
Locatie: Urine alleyway but central to Piazza Navone and Pantheon.
Very basic room not updated since the 70s and fitted with broken second hand furniture and fixtures. Disappointing. Good motivation to get out exploring and stay out for as long as possible!

Centrally Located
Geplaatst op 7 jul. 2011We got to the B & B a half an hour early and were met by Roxana who was very helpful throughout our stay. When we arrived she informed us that there was a leak in our room and that she would show us another one in a different B & B just two blocks away. We went to see it and loved it. There were two other rooms on our floor and we loved the kitchen area where we could make our espresso and even cooked a couple of times. The place is so centrally located that we could walk to most of the attractions which is what we did and even returned to our room for a siesta to avoid the afternoon sun and heat. The room was clean and airconditioned and a bargain. I highly recommend it. Roxana made breakfast for us every morning and she was very accomodating.

Geplaatst op 15 jun. 2011The hotel location was without a doubt it's best asset. It was within an easy walk to everything. As mentioned in other reviews, it was a bit noisy but owell! I was slighty unhappy that the room we got was different to the one in the photos and the bathroom was tiny and not functional at all. we also had a problem with an alarm going off at 5am in the morning and kept going for 4 hours. It was so loud we had to get up and go out. When we called the help desk the guy wasn't interested to help at all. If we went back I probably would look elsewhere

Achtung-dies ist gar kein Hotel,sondern ein sogennantes Apartement-also keine Rezeption o.ä.
Mein Zimmer hatte keine Fenster,war laut und ungemütlich.Kann ich nicht empfehlen,außer den Preis.

Perfect location
Geplaatst op 3 nov. 2010The location was PERFECT. However, it was very noisy till the wee hours in the morning. If you are a light sleeper you may want to reconsider.
The location was the best part about this Pension. It was within walking distance to EVERYTHING, including the Pantheon, Pz. Navona, Trevi fountain Closseum, Trastavere, etc.I even walked to the Vartican, even though it was a long walk, it was doable.
My room was a lot bigger than I anticipated. It was very cozy with wood beam ceilings. There was also a lift for use.
The Romanian woman who was waiting for my arrival did not seem very friendly initially, but after I initiated conversations with her, she wound up being VERY enjoyable to chat with in the morning at breakfast. She is also a very clever person.
The only draw back was that I had to wait for about 20-30mins for hot water. But oh well what the heck. I was in Rome.
I would recommend this local as as consider staying here again.
