We had a great stay in this hotel in August 2023. It’s located very centrally, close to and with view on (from roof terrace) the Colloseum but also close to other sightseeing’s. Personal was very friendly and helpful at reception (Giulio) as well as the breakfast team. Very happy about the cleaning as well. I would certainly recommend this hotel for a citytrip to Rome (we spend 4 nights there). Great city, great hotel!

Een topadresje!
Dit kleinschalige, sfeervolle hotel is echt geweldig! Heel tof ingericht, voldoende ruime kamers met comfortabele bedden (en zeer goede kussens!). Heel leuk is dat het ontbijt geserveerd wordt op het dakterras! Ook bij regen, want het is gedeeltelijk overdekt. Het ontbijt is in buffetvorm, niet heel uitgebreid maar wel in orde. Heerlijke cappuccino trouwens! ‘S Avonds wordt dit terras omgetoverd in een cocktailbar. De ligging in de wijk Monti is top: vanuit het hotel zie je het Colosseum liggen (15 min. wandelen), wij hebben alles in de stad te voet gedaan. Monti is een gezellige buurt, met heel wat goede restaurantjes vlakbij het hotel. Een heel positief punt is het personeel: iedereen is hier zo hartelijk en vriendelijk! Dat maakt toch echt wel het verschil tov grote hotels. In het bijzonder een pluim voor één van de dames van de receptie: zij maakte altijd tijd voor een praatje, was heel behulpzaam en gaf ons enkele supertips voor authentieke restaurantjes. Als we nog eens Rome bezoeken, boeken wij zeker terug dit hotel!

I stayed here with my fiance and 2 of our friends. The hotel is in a great location in the Monti neighborhood, walking distance to a lot of the sights. Additionally, there are great restaurants and bars near by. The room was super clean, bed's comfortable and decorated very nicely. We loved our stay.

Location was fantastic, decoration of the hotel is beautiful, fresh beverages everyday at the minibar offered by the hotel, breakfast simple but great, (most of) the staff very kind and helpful. Room at the front of the hotel very noisy though, and weird smell in the bathroom. Whilst most staff members were an absolute delight, there were a couple who simply should not work in hopitality.

Wir hatten drei tolle Nächte im Hotel. Haben sogar bei Ankunft ein Zimmer-Upgrade bekommen. Das Personal ist super freundlich, es werden sogar kostenlose Touren angeboten, Frühstück ist super, viel Auswahl, schöne Dachterrasse und auch hier war das Personal wieder sehr freundlich. Gute Lage des Hotels, wir konnten alles gut zu Fuß erreichen. Einziges Manko am Zimmer war die Lage zur Straße, bei offenem Fenster war es hier schon sehr laut.

Really all the 5 star reviews say it all. I cannot really expand on those reviews. I will say, the staff at this hotel are the best most friendly people I have come across in my life! The hotel offers mini tours nightly for free and are very cool!! When you stand in the middle of the street, in front of the hotel, you can see the coliseum, it’s beautiful! You will not be sorry booking this hotel!!!

The staff are friendly and helpful. The Gardenia room was beautiful and clean. Breakfast was wonderful! The only negative was the stairs. I was traveling with my 80 year old grandpa and he had trouble getting to the room.

Super close to the Colosseum and Roman Forum. If those are your top sites, you will be happy with this location. Amazing service in reception, breakfast and the complimentary tour. There are all sorts of perks that may interest you. One * removed because the stairs to our Family suite was a tight circular stair. The elevator was super small and felt like it was going to collapse with 2 adults and 2 kids under 13. Toilet was also running for most of the time and my husband had to fix it. Breakfast was amazing, great selection and delicious cappuccinos. We took advantage of the gelato tour which was a nice treat to taste really unique flavours and get a tour of the local Monti neighborhood.

Wonderful hotel
This was an amazing little boutique hotel. The staff was so friendly. It's very small but I think that is what made it so great. Rooms are very small but cozy. The morning breakfast on the roof was the frosting on the cake. It is in walking distance to all the attractions. Hotel offered free walking tours that we took advantage of at night and it was absolutely delightful. Thank you for a wonderful start to our vacation.

Really great hotel. Fabulous location, 20 minute walk to termini station, 10 minute walk to the coliseum and close to other attractions. Restaurants in the surrounding streets are amazing and not tourists traps with pictures of the food. Hotel staff were great and really friendly. The breakfast is severed on the covered roof terrace which was beautiful and the staff brought out a special breakfast and sang happy birthday!

This hotel is very cosy, close to the Colosseum and near to restaurants and shops. There is also a restaurant at the hotel itself which serves tasty, well priced food. The restaurant on the roof top was a nice surprise. The staff members are super helpful and really personable. They can even help you plan your visit of Rome. I found that very unique.

We had a great time here. The hotel is charming and in a great location. The staff were brilliant. Particularly Federica, the hotel manager as well as Letitia and Rosa from reception. We went to a lovely local restaurant on Rosa’s recommendation. We also did a number of the activities organised by the hotel. I was a bit sceptical but they were great. The guide, Virgilio was lovely. It was great to do things other than the main tourist attraction. I’d recommend this place to anyone staying in Rome

The good things about Condominio Monti: The staff - very helpful, friendly, courteous. The location - Monti is a beautiful part of Rome, convenient but away from the crowds. There are great restaurants and cafe's. The rooftop breakfast - a lovely spread of food with espresso drinks and wonderfully nice staff. The okay things about the hotel: The bed was comfortable, but the room is very small with very little space to put more than one suitcase. The lighting is also on the strange side, with more emphasis, I think, to form over function. There are also bedside tables with a big wedge intentionally cut out, so you have to be careful putting down a glass of water or your phone in the middle of the night. The Bad: The noise. The elevator was broken for the four nights we were there, and because there is a rooftop bar, there were loud groups of people clunking up and down the marble staircase until late at night. We could hear EVERYTHING! Seriously, the loudest hotel I've ever stayed in. It might be different when the elevator is working, but it was impossible to sleep with all of the noise.

This hotel went above and beyond my expectations. Traveling from Chicago and staying in Rome for the first time, I was nervous. This hotel was perfect. Federica was super helpful the entire time and the sweetest ever! The girls on the rooftop made our morning great every day at breakfast (which was so good!). Will definitely stay here again.

The staff was great! They helped us navigate the area and the hotel was conveniently located to many of the sites we were visiting. The rooms were clean, the bed was comfortable, the wifi worked well and the included breakfast exceeded expectations! Overall a great place to stay.
