Rustige Lake House in de buurt van Seattle, Issaquah, Redmond

Ideaal gelegen aan de oostelijke kant van het prachtige Lake Sammamish voor prachtige zonsondergangen en een rustige omgeving, het huisje op Sammamish is een onlangs gerenoveerd vakantie locatie. Je voelt je uitgerust en weg van de drukke wereld. Veel mensen zeggen dat het voelt u zich in een boot met de grote ramen met uitzicht en vlakbij het meer.
Toch, net op de heuvel van het huis (5 minuten rijden) is een grote Safeway en een veelheid aan handige take-away winkels en restaurants. 10 minuten ten noorden en je bent in het midden van Redmond (Microsoft stad!) en de Redmond Town Centre. 10 minuten ten zuiden en je hebt Costco, Bestbuy, FredMeyer, etc op de mooie stad Issaquah. Beide steden zijn verbonden met een mooie goed bewaarde staat pad dat loopt op de achterkant van het huisje, waar u kunt wandelen, lopen of fietsen. Het huisje is ook dicht bij Seattle zelf. (20 mijl - 30 min)

Lake Sammamish: De tweede grootste meer in de omgeving van Seattle is 7 mijl lang, 1. 5 mijl breed met een maximale diepte van 105 voeten. Grenst in het noorden door Marymoor Park en Lake Sammamish Park in het zuiden, is dit een ideale watersport meer. U kunt onze 3 kajaks te gebruiken om het meer of zelfs onze paddle board verkennen, terwijl op vakantie in Cottage op Sammamish.

Awesome place!

This was a great place to stay. The home is right on the lake and also 5 mins from grocery stores and restaurants. We were in town for a concert in Woodinville and it was about a 20 minute drive- super easy. Beautiful, clean and comfortable home with AC and comfy beds. The host is friendly and helpful, we wish we could have stayed longer to hang out!

Holiday family time

This property, right on Lake Sammamish, was spacious enough for 2 adults and two children. Great views and access to the water. Kitchen and bathroom facilities provided everything we needed for a 12 day stay. Cable tv Netflix and many books for our entertainment. Several stairs lead down to the house from car park.

Beautiful and peaceful

This was a lovely place to stay, incredibly quiet and peaceful. We particularly enjoyed the direct access to the beautiful walking/biking path that goes around the lake. The house is cozy and clean, with all the amenities you could need. The property managers are super friendly and considerate, we felt very welcomed.

Lake house beauty

Don is a gem and sweet as can be. The home is in a quiet neighborhood with its own personal dock. The lake is beautiful and bird watching is fantastic. We saw blue heron, bald eagles, Canadian geese and goslings, Mallards and their ducklings. As the sun sets another wave of animals come out: moths, spiders, bats, mosquitoes. We enjoyed the dock before sunset and enjoyed the sunsets and watching the night critters from inside looking out at the beautiful view. It’s nice to have wood floors throughout most of the house, and the cellar is at least 10-15 degrees cooler than other parts of the home. It’s also stocked with lots of books in the basement and a nice selection of DVDs. The pictorial book on the local history of Lake Sammamish is definitely worth a read and easy to do in 10 minutes or less. We were happy to find a few chilled sparkling waters and sodas waiting for us as well as microwaveable popcorn. Don also told us about local restaurants and grocery stores. Note for those with walking issues, there is an outdoor staircase that you must walk down with your luggage to access the lake house.

Wonderful Lake Sammamish Lake House

We had such a wonderful time at this lake house. The property is just as the pictures and the location is simply perfect. Sunrise and Sunsets on the dock are spectacular. We took our teenage girls here for Spring Break and had the best time. Communication was very prompt and it was easy to find. I highly recommend this location.

What a great stay

This was a family vacation with kids 10-16. Listing was accurate. Place was amazing. The owner Don was really fun. I’d love to sit and chat a bit more on another trip. Great host, great place and a lot of fun. The beds were actually comfortable and I have trouble sleeping (not there). Will be looking to come back as this is on my favorite list…

The Cottage is very open to the outside and lake. Lot's of lovely places to hang out and enjoy the view (we particularly enjoyed the covered sitting area). Seattle was a 35 minute drive and there were plenty of places near by for supplies and food.
