De charme van Moonglade Cottage is al 40 jaar boeiend voor gezinnen en zomergasten. Locatie, voorzieningen en de natuurlijke schoonheid van de omgeving zorgen ervoor dat deze gasten jaar na jaar terugkeren.

Moonglade ligt aan de oostelijke oever van Suttons Bay en biedt spectaculaire zonsondergangen omlijst door de dubbele berkenbomen vanaf het dek van de grote slaapkamer. De beschutte veranda met antiek rieten meubels wacht op u aan het einde van de dag om te ontspannen of gewoon het ongerepte blauwe water van Suttons Bay op het strand te horen schoot. De veranda is een geweldige plek om een dutje te doen of gewoon een geweldig boek te lezen terwijl de middagzon voor je hangt. Het huisje is uitgerust met alle houten of tegelvloeren (geen vloerbedekking), graniet / tegelbad, compacte maar efficiënte keuken met alle grote apparaten en Fisher / Paykel vaatwasser, 2 slaapkamers (queen en doouble / twin stapelbed) 2 flat-panel TV's en alle voorzieningen van thuis.

De ambiance van het dorp Suttons Bay ligt op slechts 3,2 km afstand. Suttons Bay, gastheer voor bekroonde restaurants, kunstgalerijen en boetiekjes, is een andere constante herinnering aan waarom gasten naar Leelanau County reizen.

De hartslag van Noordwest-Michigan is Traverse City op slechts 15 minuten afstand met restaurants van wereldklasse, winkels en entertainment in het nabijgelegen Interlochen Center for the Arts of Dennos Center. Profiteer ervan!

Er is GEEN DOCK vanwege het lage waterniveau. Zwemmen is nog steeds geweldig, maar je moet vrij ver lopen om je taille diep te krijgen.

We could not ask for a better experience at Moon Glade. It was so relaxing but also close to everything in town. We saw bald eagles and kayaked the glass waters. Highly recommend!

Beauty on the Bay

Our stay was great..we lucked out had good weather for April! Moonglade Cottage was very nice..clean..I didn’t cook much while there but could tell kitchen equipped very good for about anything! Located very close to Suttons Bay which is an amazing town..lots of good shopping & eating! Beds were very comfortable..places to store “stuff”! All in all very nice place ..we hope to return sometime during the summer!!!

Spring break

My daughter and I stayed in March for her spring break. We had our two four legged companions with us. We did a lot of hiking, shopping and eating. Enjoyed having coffee in the morning with the expansive view of the partially frozen bay. It was very cozy and relaxing on the days we stayed in. Really enjoyed our stay. Will definitely want to stay again. Very clean and cozy.

Quaint cabin 5 minutes to the village of Suttons Bay. Clean, comfy, and quiet. Perfect mini vacation for my wife and I. And the weather end of October was perfect for beach walks and shopping.

So Relaxing

We loved our second stay at Moonglade Cottage. It is a beautiful, clean little cottage. The view of the sunset is amazing and love the screened in porch to read on for those rainy days. My husband and I always have a wonderful time here and the owner is quick to communicate if anything is needed.

Stunning little cottage beauty!

My husband and I stayed here for a week—such a relaxing and special place. The views of Suttons Bay are absolutely spectacular. We enjoyed the screened porch and sunsets and surrounding towns. The cottage is cute and right on the bay. Take stairs down to the retaining wall patio and dock. We loved that there was no sand to get off our feet!! Very peaceful this time of year (before school is out). Perfect place for us to enjoy some R&R between family wedding activities. Enjoyed our stay!

Our stay at Sutton Bay's Moonglade Cottage provided an idyllic waterfront sanctuary for a three-night birthday celebration. This tranquil haven is as close to the water as one can hope for, offering the ultimate calm experience. The cottage is equipped with a fire pit, generously stocked with wood, and a charming three-season room that invites you to curl up with a book. The private dock reaches invitingly into the crystal-clear waters, complete with steps that ease you into the lake for a refreshing dip. Inside, the two-bedroom abode features a well-appointed kitchen with a Keurig coffee maker—a significant hit with my partner. The quaint size of the cottage strikes a harmonious balance between comfort and encouragement to explore the picturesque surroundings. It's snug enough to provide a warm retreat after venturing into the bustling Traverse City or exploring the quaint downtown of Sutton Bay, yet it naturally nudges guests to immerse themselves in the beauty of the outdoors. Our four-legged companion, Ghost, relished in the local walking trails and was notably reluctant to return to his usual city apartment life after such an invigorating escape. Our adventures even included a trek from the cottage to downtown and back, a testament to the cottage's invitation to enjoy the surrounding nature. Taking advantage of the owner-provided kayaks, I enjoyed a tranquil paddle on the lake, further enhancing our serene weekend getaway. Wholeheartedly reccommend!

Weekend getaway

This is our second visit, and we couldn’t have had a more enjoyable time! The beautiful cottage, views of Sutton’s Bay, and our wonderful host made this another memorable trip to Sutton’s Bay! North Country Kitchen and Bar in Sutton’s Bay, the beach in Leland, 45 North Winery, Blackstar Farms, Grand Traverse Lighthouse, and Sutton’s Bay Ciders were just a few of our favorite places to visit while we were here. Stayed for two nights. The property was clean and updated. On the smaller size but didn't feel that way because it was nice and bright. The views were amazing of the water. We enjoyed sitting down by the dock at night & enjoyed a fire. Would book again in the summer months

Very Nice Location
