Affordable hotel at perfect location

We stayed for 2 nights exploring Sydney. Location is great; 10 min from "museum" train station which you can reach directly from airport. Hyde park and botanical garden in same area, opera house and ferry additional 15 min walk. Shops closeby. Room small but nice. Guest lounge and common kitchen great. Thai food (mrs Chanl just below hotel is recommended.

Prima locatie!

Leuk hotel met veel gekke gangetjes, zo in Darling Harbour, en de Botanische tuinen. Kortom mooi centraal gelegen en toch heerlijk stil!

Perfect stay for the big city

The rooms are very clean, staff is friendly. And the hotel is located right in the city center. So you are close to shops, restaurant, convenient stores, central station.

erg klein, wel fijn

De locatie is heel fijn, centraal en op loopafstand van het station en leuke plekken zoals Darling Harbour. Het personeel is heel vriendelijk en prettig. Kamer is heel erg klein, en wij hadden de deluxe kamer! De ramen waren niet te openen, wat heel onprettig voelt.

Guest service Luke, was very helpful and accomodating! Hotel is opposite a light rail and only a 15 minute walk into the CBD good location

ホテルの前にライトレールの乗り場があり、セントラルに出られるので移動がしやすかったです。人通りの多い道路沿いにありますが中は静かで部屋もコンパクトにまとまっていてよかったです。

The size of the room was about 8 sq meters, not much bigger than the bathroom. They charged things from minibar from my credit card which I didn't take but after reclaim corrected that.

You booked our budget single room and the sizing is apparent in the title 'Matchbox room' and with the photo's and measurements provided online. This is also reflected in the pricing which at $65 I am sure you have to agree is a steal in Sydney's hotel market! Next time, please see our friendly staff at reception if the room is not to your liking as we have many different double and deluxe double room types we could have shown you. We do apologize for the mix up with the minibar charge and the refund was promptly made to your credit card. I want you to know that I have followed this up with my staff to ensure this error does not occur again. We want all of our guests to have a comfortable stay with us and I do apologize this was not the case for you on this occasion. Next time please feel free to approach our friendly staff during your stay as they will always go above and beyond to ensure you have the best possible guest experience with us.

Small room, great price with a very comfortable bed with clean linen. Shower with fabulous large head that was adjustable and high enough for tall person. The floors are my gripe, bathroom floor looked dirty and as though it hadnt been cleaned in months also carpet in bedroom was worn, stained and dirt of white small spots at bottom of bed, noticed it as soon as i walked in.
