Positief: Netheid
The house was clean but had a funky smell. Lots of moisture; the sheets felt wet the first night we stayed. The location is good except the lake access is farther away than we anticipated. We loved access to the kayaks, but hauling them down the path and down two sets of stairs was difficult not to mention bringing them up and putting them back on the wall. We are older and it was pretty strenuous. The pictures on the site definitely elevate the reality of the place. It was pricey for the three of us. A better deal for more people. The step down into the lake was also deep. My mom could not navigate it. The sandy swim area is overrated. It is a sandy bottom but pretty weedy and dirty just a couple feet off shore. Fishing off the dock was nice. We didn’t catch anything big, but we were just catching and releasing. The freezer in the fridge needs a deodorizer. Everything in it smells like fish. For the money we expected better air conditioning and easier lake access. However, we had fun anyway.
