Japans capsule hotel
Geplaatst op 8 mei 2018 op HotelsTypische Japanse ervaring, grappig maar ook comfortabel. Alles is aanwezig: pyjama, slippers en toilet artikelen. Hotel ligt in het uitgaand district en op loopafstand van stations. Van harte aanbevolen.

Geplaatst op 30 apr. 2018Well recommended if location and price are your most important criteria for a hotel in Tokyo. Obviously sleeping space is small but everything is very clean, good common area and a bif onsen area as an extra bonus

The hotel is in a sparkling area. Its cheap tho.

Location was amazing. Nothing too fancy or high quality about the hostel, but you get what you pay for. For the price, it is worth it. The locker area is tight, the lobby smells a bit because of the shoe lockers, the building could use some ventilation, there is only one elevator, and it can be hard to sleep because of your pod neighbors. I would not recommend if you are a light sleeper or if you like your privacy. Location and price make up for what it lacks.

I decided to give the economical capsule a try. It isn't for me in the future, but it's a decent alternative to the expensive hotels if you'd like to be in a popular area.
They clean the capsules daily and won't return things like a charger to you if you leave it in there.

Cleaning staff was a bit rude and overall the building had many technical problems.

It’s not worth whatever price you’re getting. The most difficult and tedious capsule experience I’ve ever had.
- no stairs, wait in a long line everyday for one small elevator to leave or enter hostel, then forced to wait in lobby for another single small elevator to capsule room
- they force you to leave your shoes in the lobby lockers to have your locker keys upstairs. Staff is overworked trying to exchange all the keys. Lobby smells overwhelmingly like feet.
- listing is intentionally misleading. There is no two capsule room.

It was awful the beds had bedbugs on them the toilets were dirty
