No TV in the rooms itself, No phone for room service, must use your own mobile to contact the front desk if in need of anything as well as when you need to attend dinner because you are not aloud to walk alone and unattended.
But in-spite of it all, the service was really good with regards to the pic-up and drop-off and the African ladies that provided such warm welcoming and high quality service.

We always appreciate hearing how our guests have valued their stay.
We have reviewed your feedback regarding the TV as well as the phones in the rooms. Expedia/Hotels.com/Travelocity.com allows each establishment to mark the correct feature that is available at the property to be correctly advertised. As Nedile Lodge is a Bush Lodge, no TV’s are advertised as well as no phones in the rooms. Being in a remote area without telephone service we decided not to put phones in the rooms. Most guests prefer to hear the tranquillity sounds of the Bush instead of the TV next door . We have a Library with a TV for that occasional sporting event our guests don’t want to miss, but it was our decision not to put TVs in the rooms.
It was also a conscious decision not to fence the camp in with electric fences. Wild animals roam freely through the camp and you might even wake up in the morning joined by a Lion on your veranda. Elephants regularly join us at the swimming pool for a drink. This means that it is dangerous to walk alone at night. During daytime you can walk on your own but it is again recommended to to stay close to the buildings in order to get away if a dangerous animal would visit us.
Over the years we have also perfected the communication between Lodge staff and guests for when they would like to be collected for dinner as well as for the morning drive so that they won’t need to worry about contacting them. Rooms are issued with horns to call lodge staff in case of an emergency. There is cellphone reception so guests can phone the lodge staff with question if the don’t want to walk the short distance to the main lodge.
We will definitely inform the Lodge of your great feedback especially about the service which we pride ourselves very much.
