What you can expect

Uncover the secret, hidden spaces, stairways, and passages of Palazzo Vecchio on a revealing guided tour. With a small group of only 12 people, discover the intriguing, unseen side of the palace that has only recently become available to the public.

Towering over the other splendid buildings in the Piazza della Signoria in the centre of Florence, the Palazzo Vecchio (or “Old Palace”) is a grand fortress-like structure built in the 13th century that now serves as the town hall. The palace is one of the main focal points of the city and is home to a replica statue of Michelangelo’s “David,” which replaced the original in 1873.

Ascend through the narrow passages of Duke Gualtieri’s medieval stairway and encounter an unexpected path beyond a door hidden behind a large painting. Admire the precious and imposing coffered ceiling of the Salone dei Cinquecento (Hall of the 500).

After the tour ends make your way to a charming restaurant in the ancient merchant open gallery at the heart of the Medici district, for a Florentine lunch and drinks,.
