This full day tour offers you a chance to visit and explore a traditional market in Sapa named Coc Ly market. Joining this tour, you will see diverse indigenous people working in the market, such as Flower Hmong, Tu Di, Tay and Giay people. Especially, you will enjoy a visit to a Tay Village and learn about their culture.

Once you arrive at Lao Cao railway station, you will be greeted and picked there by a local guide and a driver. Then, you will start the tour by driving to Muong Khuong. On the way there, you will have the chance to enjoy lovely landscapes and sceneries of mountains and forests. Don’t skip this moment to feel one part of natural beauty in Vietnam generally and Sapa particularly.

Muong Khuong market is situated inside a small border town. Coming here, you will not only see diverse indigenous groups in their colourful traditional dress, such as Flower Hmong, Tu Di, Tay and Giay minorities, but also see a wide range of homemade products such as vegetables, fruits and even domestic animals sold by the locals. In addition, you can interact with the local and enjoy their traditional dishes. After spending the whole morning exploring the market, you will stop at a local restaurant and have lunch there.

Following the morning excursion and a tasty lunch, you will start the afternoon programme by taking a short walk to a village inhabited by Tay people. You will visit a local house and talk with its owners to understand and learn more about their culture, tradition and daily life. You will be impressed by the group’s life style and their distinctive life features.

Then, you will be transferred back to Lao Cai and the tour ends.
