"We had a great time and the cabin and scenery was what we had imagined. Our evenings were peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed hiking the trails on the property and the map provided onsite was accurate. We were close to the parks to go and visit but far enough away to have the quiet we desired. We enjoyed our evening cookouts and bonfires. We had a few issues but we're able to easily resolve. The two hoses connecting to the outdoor shower had a bad connection valve. They had leaked out all the water....

"I really enjoyed my overnight. The living area is so comfortable and the decor and books right up my alley. The bed and linens as well as pillows were so comfy and I slept great! Nice and neat kitchen and bath. A few suggestions I have would be to just add a railing up the stone steps from the street. I knew about them but with luggage and food bags it’s very difficult to walk up and down only touching a tree stump or rock here and there. Also the cabin did not smell fresh. I would maybe spray...

"From about 2 hours away, we arrived to a cute little cabin overlooking a very peaceful lake. Clean property, comfy bed and clean hot tub. It was such a relaxing weekend away and there is plenty of exploring to be done in this area. DID NOT DISAPPOINT!"

Susan is a wonderful host and the accommodations are cocy and comfortable. "We've never been anywhere like this before, it was great! It really is secluded, a good distance off the road near one end of a 550 acre farm that's mostly forest. If we hadn't wanted to see any other people, that would have been very possible. But the owners are delightful and very friendly, and we really enjoyed getting to chat with them and learn about the farm. The cabin itself was great for the two of us. It's very clean and looks like it was refurbished within the last few years, so...

She made herself readily available to answer any questions and even gave us a list of things to do near by during our stay. The view is absolutely amazing and we will be coming back to visit! "The house was very clean and all the instructions were clear. It was close to campus where I was visiting my kid and close to a bagel shop (native bagel) that I really enjoyed! Lots of room to relax, a table to work at and a yard to enjoy the sun."
