"The property is well located, there is a bus station about five minutes walk from the property so if you take the X3 bus from the airport you you literally get off at the last stop Bugibba, and it cost only two euro. "The two apartments are spacious, clean and situated near both local amenities and Bugibba itself. The apartments were quiet and felt very safe for our range of ages (5 to 57). The sea view was lovely. Milena was great and very helpful when we needed to leave our bags due to a late departure. I would highly recommend the apartments."

"Lovely to stay with Ray and Maria again; we were last there thirty years ago when our children were small. Apartment 2 is comfortable and spacious and the pool deck is surrounded by palm trees! The weather was mixed so we caught up on Amazon and YouTube series some evenings. The Santa Maria Estate is a peaceful residential area a short walk away from Central Mellieha. We used the running track most days. We hope to return and thank Maria and Ray for sharing their lovely villa with us."

"The property is very clean and has beautiful views. The host lives at the property and provides a lot of assistance and really wants people to enjoy their their stay. He is very involved and always around. There is a small pool kids can enjoy. We liked staying in the area away from all the crowds. You can get to a bus stop but if you can drive that would be much easier, the bus system is pretty slow."

What a lovely lady and great host - we would stay there again ! It's also within walking distance to a handy grocery store and lots of great restaurants. "Second stay at Shamrock apartments another great stay. So close to all amenities, bus terminal so close, restaurants, shops etc.. hosts are attentive and quick to respond to any enquires. Appartment has everything you could need for your stay. Pool is small but clean. Plenty of sunbeds. Only negative not the appartments fault but a Scottish lady decided to sunbathe topless (which is not allowed) next to my 80 year old father, just because she wanted the particular bed he was using!! "
