House was on a pretty busy street so there was a lot of traffic noise. Air conditioners were still in windows, so there was quite a bit of cold air coming in. There are people who live on the property as well, so there are quiet times and shared areas. Was not a big deal for us, but might be for others.

Cute house in a good location
The listing was just as promised. Check in and out was easy and we didn't have any issues. The one thing I would note is that the cleaning is a bit spotty-- there were quite a few random items (socks, food wrappers, etc.) left under beds or couches that my curious children dug out. The fridge is also alarmingly wobbly when opened and should be stabilized. But, overall it was a great place!

I would not stay here again
I’m fairly new to VRBO- so my bad not reading reviews. If you are a college kid or want an experience just above camping- this is your spot. You share the space and are warned at check in not to bother them- they live below you. If you’re in CO and want to respite that is as beautiful as the mountains - do not go here. It’s very dark- not like the pictures. It smells, the windows are filthy and because of the ac/heating units it is LOUD. I just wanted to get out as soon as possible. How it has an avg of 4.3 stars is amazing. I would not want to visit beautiful Colorado and stay in the dreary home. Yard is not kept up. Light bulbs not even in lamp (dangerous). Needs an overhaul.

Amazing!
This rental was so great! There was plenty of room for everyone. Super clean, full kitchen with all the appliances and dishes u need also upgraded. Check in and out was simple. Property manager was so nice. I will definitely stay here again when I visit. ZERO problems wich is unusual lol. Thank you so much for making my family stay great.

It was a nice property. Loved the bathtub and kitchen. Did not like the parking but seems like its everywhere. Communication could of been better. I liked the family games. And my son (7) said he loved the house.

Super cute place!
Stayed here with some friends and it was perfect!! All five of us could fit on the couch in the living room and we enjoyed cooking there too! The A/C was fantastic and the beds were comfy.

Fantastic for a short stay
Overall this property served it's purpose and we enjoyed our stay. We are a family of 5 (2 adults and 3 teens) who came through Colorado Springs on a road trip. The property manager was great at communicating with us, the house was very clean and we were fairly close to downtown (not exactly walkable, but close). The only drawbacks were the very busy street in front of the house and the house was smaller than I thought it would be based on the pictures.

Needed a good deep cleaning
When I first walked in, I was shocked. It was nothing like the pictures portrayed. Everything from the couch to the kitchen utensils could definitely use an update. Beware; there are only 2 small window units in the entire house…upstairs and down. The window in the upstairs leaks water, so we had to put a towel down. Everything needed a good deep cleaning. The floors felt grimey and there was a layer of dust on most surfaces. The property sits on a very busy street, however, it is close to the downtown square. We loved Colorado Springs but it is very doubtful we’d stay at this property again.

It was a cute little house and we enjoyed our stay. We definitely overpacked. The house was equipped with everything we needed. After going out to site see, if felt like home coming back to the house. If we ever come back, we will definitely try and book this property again.

This is an excellent location! We loved the location and it’s accessibility. The house is quaint and is what I would expect from an older home. However the appliances are in definite need of upgrade and repair. One appliance stopped working while we were there and I’m sure the fridge is next. My only real complaint is that no where in the info about the place are you told upfront that you share this property with 2 other renters. We met one of them, and they were very nice…but I would have liked to know up from that we shared a space with other renters.

Close to Town
This property was pretty close to a lot of the restaurants and shops in Colorado Springs, but still not on the main streets so traffic wasn’t too bad. It was the perfect size for our group and overall we really enjoyed staying there! There are a few minor maintenance things that could be improved on, but nothing major. I would totally recommend it for someone staying in the area.

Parking only on street. House was clean but was dusty. All windows were unlocked, several windows wouldn’t lock. Laundry room is communal to others. Basement was rented to someone else. House was very cold. We rented the place for 4 days and left the following day. My husband and kids have allergies and was affected immediately and we just didn’t feel safe.

Noisy with broken windows
Meh. The 1980’s fridge / freezer sounds like a vacuum cleaner. It’s LOUD all the time. Other reviews mentioned the same thing, but the complaints have been ignored. No screen on the living room window and glass is broken. Dining room window doesn’t lock. Yard is a mess. Neighborhood is sketch. Toilet downstairs wouldn’t fill with water until my husband fixed it - kind of. No coffee. Sleeps six but there’s no way six people can sit in the living room on the one couch. We stayed for one night but I wouldn’t book again. Sent this info to the owner and he said “ OK”. That was it.

Read the reviews before booking
When booking this house the pictures make the house look a lot larger than they are. It does not mention that there are full time tenants that live in the basement and there are only certain times you can access the laundry room because it is shared with the full time tenants. It does not mention there is no parking and you have to park on the street. The driveway is for the full time tenants only. There is no inside lock on the front door which is very sketchy as it’s not in a great location and after going back through the reviews homeless people have tried to break in before. The shower upstairs is extremely tiny and the shower curtain rod is on a slant so there is no way to even close the shower curtain. The shower curtains are extremely thin and super cheap. The fridge had an awful smell to it. The yard is mostly sticks and rocks. It is not well kept at all. The front gate is falling over and is not sturdy. Overall, I do not recommend staying here.

Quaint, Not Ideal
The home is smaller than it looks in photos but there is plenty of room. The noise from the street outside is extremely loud. There is also a toilet that runs and a noisy refrigerator. Also, they ask you do do an awful lot of cleaning up when you’re already being charge a cleaning fee. Plus, the place could use a thorough dusting.

Over-all I loved everything about our stay, it was myself, my husband and 6 children ranging from 9-18. We had plenty of room for all of us, we did bring an air mattress for our two youngest. 3 of our older kids was upstairs and the rest of us was downstairs, I liked that it had a bathroom &/shower up stairs plus one downstairs for us. House was fully furnished, dishes, pans and pots to cook with, coffee maker, microwave, dishwasher, washer and dryer on site, plenty of towels & blankets. We felt safe in the neighborhood as well. If I had a question I was able to get in contact with the house host. There was an AC up-stairs, I just wish we had one downstairs because we like to stay cool at night. We were all pleased with staying here and would definitely stay here in the future.

The house was cozy and had everything we needed for our trip to Colorado Springs! It was a perfect location and close to everything we wanted to do. It was super easy to communicate with the property manager, and the house was fully stocked with everything we needed. The beds were not comfy so it was kind hard to get good rest. All in all though I am super pleased with our stay.

First problem was the porch light was burned out. Was told it would be fixed on December 24th wasn’t until the 26. The manager was doing laundry later in the evening and early morning and the dryer buzzer was going off. The guests downstairs were very loud late into the night. Lots of street noise and the windows and house was very drafty. You get what you pay for.

This was a great price to fit 7 of us. The place was centrally located. A few issues: the front is very dark making it hard to find, we had issue with the people in the basement trying to get in the front because they couldn't find their door. If you have more than 6 people, someone will be on a pull out couch.

House was just ok
The house overall worked for my group of two adults and two kids ! Bedding seemed clean. The house was very very dusty all over. It looked as the furniture has not been moved in months to clean. even the coffee table not just big furniture. The playpen was not normal shape so the sheets I brought did not fit and the pad in the play pen was disgusting I absolutely could not put my baby in there. There was a few window that would not lock and felt a little unsafe not being able to lock them and on such a busy street. there was also a few windows with the glass broken. and the window in the downstairs window let alot of cold air in over night on cold nights. The laundry room is like a backroom but other tenants have access to that. so you need to make sure that your door in the kitchen leading to this room stays locked so no one can come in and steal your stuff. Some times that is tricky with kids and they like to explore. The couch is very comfy but the living room needs a little more furniture. The fridge shelfs were also falling off we also two nights in the middle of the night saw a mouse running once in the bathroom and once in the kitchen !!! over all it worked location was close to things property was great response but property could use some updating and dusting forsure !

The process was super simple and the instructions and necessary information was all included in the welcome message. The house was clean, and the location was PERFECT. Very close to downtown, shops, and a pharmacy and Starbucks was down the street. The view of Pikes Peak from out in front of the house was beautiful. The neighborhood felt safe. We got immediate responses to any questions that came up.

Great stay for the whole family
I traveled with my daughters, parents, and their 2 dogs. The houese was perfect size to accommodate all 6 adults. House is cozy and close to all the great tourist attractions. Jessica was quick to respond to texts and very pleasant to interact with. I will definitely stay here again, if I make it back to Colorado Springs.

A very convenient location.
We enjoyed our stay! We didn't care for the street parking or passing car noise while trying to sleep, but turning on a floor fan created "white noise" that was easier to sleep with than the cars. Family wedding and vacation
The house was plenty big enough for the five of us. It wasn't spacious be there was plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen is large and modern. The main bathroom is on the first floor and has a claw foot tin with a shower. It can be a challenge to get in and out of. I gave the host a list of things about the house that could be improved upon and adding a grab bar was one of them. The location to the wedding venue and everyone involved was perfect. And it was very convenient to downtown and only 20 minutes to just about anything else you wanted to do. For the price you simply can not beat this rental. I highly recommend it for groups of 6, and with the pull out couch (we didn't need it) you can squeeze in 2 more. There is also a shower upstairs but the ceiling was a little bit short for my 6'4" son! Otherwise it worked well and handled the 3 upstairs occupants just fine. There were an abundance of fresh towels for everyone. Loved that! And they were new. Very good quality. It made a difference to have nice towels after a long day of site seeing and a shower. All in all, you could do a lot worse and spend a lot more elsewhere. If we ever go back to Colorado Springs, I would definitely stay here again.

FRONT PORCH RELAXATION AND CONVENIENT LOCATION
We especially enjoyed relaxing in the chairs on the front porch. The house was a short distance to take out food, McDonald's morning coffee, China Village Restaurant (which we loved), and a lovely park and creek 2or 3 blocks away, and downtown. Also loved the clean and beautiful wood floors and tile, large dining room table, large screen TV, internet/WiFi, comfy living room sofa, and large kitchen. Plenty of fans were available, as well. Price was right and we are grateful for that. Some repairs would be helpful: ie. locks on bathroom doors. front porch siding repaired, a little front yard and backyard cleanup (decorative gravel might be nice... or grass too), and screens left gaps. More kitchen plates, bowls, silverware and cooking pans might be helpful. YES. WE WOULD RENT THIS HOME AGAIN. (written summer 2021)
