"When my Wife and I were looking for a mini vacation, my first words were quiet with maybe a little fishing. If you like the sound of birds and the wind rushing through the trees, you have found your happy place. A most excellent choice for couples with perhaps a small family. We must have missed the whiporwhill season. I was hoping to hear them again. The fishing on Smith is always a gamble so prepare to catch a ton or none. The surroundings are top notch! Silence.....ahhhh!"

"This house is beautiful and comfortable! It is a very quiet neighborhood, so you want to make sure you aren't planning an evening party! It was perfect for us! "The property was awesome. The home was equipped with everything that we needed. The views were exceptional. The only draw back was we arrived late Friday night and had to go to a public boat launch since we were not able to take the boat to the property and trying to locate the property at night in the water was a little trying. But the host did provide pretty good directions from the boat launch. I would definitely use them again."

"This property was everything we could wish for in a lakeside cabin. Secluded, quiet & beautiful land complete with a gas grill, fire pit, porch seating for cool evening dinners, spacious dock for lazy days fishing or swimming and a canoe with paddle’s & various sized life jackets for exploring lake Smith. The cabin was super clean with all of the necessities. The beds & linens are comfy with extra blankets just in case. We loved our stay & recommend to everyone."

"The house is exactly as described! Beautiful part of the lake and we had peaceful mornings with coffee on the back porch. The boat ramp is so close and easy to use for your boat. Only negative is the mattresses need to be replaced. We had 6 adults & everything in the house functions well. We brought a Blackstone table top griddle where we made most of our meals outside. "The house was lovely, easy walk to the dock. Water toys were plentiful, the house was well appointed with a well stocked kitchen for cooking. The driveway is pretty steep but our Chevy Tahoe had no problem getting out."

"We loved our family trip to this adorable house on Smith Lake! It is on a cove which makes it such a great spot on the lake. There are great views of the lake from the house. The dock was very close to the house which was very easy and convenient! The property manager was so helpful and easy to communicate with. We can't wait to go back!"

"Saying my fiances stay and mine was amazing at this place just doesn't do it justice!! It's exactly as pictured! We had so much fun! "If you love nature this place is perfect! Quiet little oasis in a very secluded area perfect for family gatherings or just couples. This was actually our second visit! We loved the seclusion, private beach and surrounding National Forest area. So many beautiful trails and sites to see in this area of Alabama and not enough time to get them all in. "This is my families second time to stay for fall break at this beautiful well appointed lake house! We love the decor, comfy beds, entertaining space inside and outside. The neighborhood is quiet and secluded and we feel safe letting our kids walk around and explore with other kids staying in the community. Boathouse has Lilly pad, kayaks, paddle boards and plenty of chairs for sunning, relaxing and fishing! We hope to return again next year!"

The perfect Smith Lake property
"This is the perfect property for a large family or family and friends. This house has TWO full size kitchens and laundry rooms. One upstairs and another downstairs. The third floor has games such as PAC MAN, and air hockey as well as two double beds that I am sure your children or grandchildren would like to call their space. The boat dock has a slip for two full size boats or pontoon boats, a jet ski dock and a super big swimming dock complete with plenty od sitting area for the adults. The house is a first class home that you can tell that no corners were cut during the building of this wonderful home. Our group of 8 adults and three children were super comfortable with room to spare. We plan on staying here again next summer."
