"Bare bones and a bit shabby, this older motel is very reasonable for a place to sleep. It has the essentials, and the room was very quiet. The mattress was very comfortable, firm but not hard, bedding was clean and cozy. Towels were thin, if you care about those kind of things, but freshly laundered. Worst part was trying to get the shampoo packet open. I had to use my teeth. Everything else was just fine for what this place is. "

"My husband, our 2 children and myself stayed at the property as part of our spring break. This place is awesome! This has got to be the most luxurious cabin we have ever stayed in. The pool/hot tub area was wonderfully maintained and the pool was warm upon our arrival. Plenty of firewood was provided and we used the indoor fireplace daily. Ample cooking supplies were provided, even skewers for smores which I had forgotten. The grounds and lake were expansive and private. Mr. and Mrs. Hockaday...
