"My wife and I spent a weekend here. We enjoyed renting the jon boat for some fishing, grilled, and enjoyed the hot tub. Close to town for grabbing food to cook and forgotten items. Shower water pressure wasn’t great and the bedroom is small, but it was a nice getaway for us. We would definitely rent again."

"The cabin was perfectly situated between Lake Bonham and Bois D Arc. We operate a cabin business as in SE Oklahoma and Mandy has done a fantastic job and communication was excellent. Kitchen was adequately supplied and beds were very comfortable. Highly recommend to anyone visiting this area. We had trouble with the WIFI lock on the front door but Mandy promptly responded. "This house has some good space for gathering. It does need some attention. I paid a premium because it was for the eclipse viewing, and I don’t think it was clean as it should have been. The pictures did not match. There wasn’t any hairdryers, but the owner promptly brought us 2 new hairdryers. The kitchen lacked equipment- no pans for utilizing the oven, no flipper for burgers or pancakes, only 4 non plastic forks. The area was nice, needs more outdoor seating."

"It is a nice house but found it odd that it was their every day home and didn’t expect to find their toiletries in the shower, leftovers in fridge , etc. We found it hard to relax , feeling like in someone’s home. "Overall we had a great stay! I would give a few suggestions, such as fans in the living area, even with the A/C set low it was stuffy and warm. In the bedrooms, the fan would not run unless the lights were on, again it got hot at night. The lock on the back door was broken, so we could not access the back yard patio. "We were in town for a wedding in nearby Celeste, TX. This was a convenient location for us. The house is great! It’s newly remodeled and very clean. The beds were comfortable and the shower in the primary suite is amazing! The town of Leonard itself doesn’t have much to offer.
