"We didn’t initially notice but the filth became evident the longer you were there. Bathroom has dog hairs and dust in very corner and surface. Kitchen also had dog hair, dust and crumbs on the ground. All the glassware was filthy and stained. Fridge had moldy food. Bread bin, also filthy with old bread crumbs. "Caravan was comfortable and was OK for the couple of nights we stayed However some half used items of food had been left in the fridge and the furnishings were a little worn. Caravan and bed were creaky although this was mainly down to the high winds the weekend we were there."

"We booked here for it's easy drive to Dumfries House. Dinner and breakfast were excellent. Staff were very friendly and attentive. The restaurant and bar are nice informal and relaxing areas.
