"Sehr geräumig, Küche hatte fast alles was man braucht! Leider für Spinnenphobiker nicht geeignet! Auf jeden Fall schön ruhig! Gute Lage zu Amsterdam und auch Hoorn, Edam, Volendam usw! Spartanischer kleiner Markt vor Ort, für das Nötigste! Kaffeevollautomat (Bohnen vor Ort kaufen, ist günstiger) Ansonsten sollte man Geschirrtabs, Handseife, Klopapier, Geschirrtücher usw. Einpacken! Waren schöne 10 Tage! Vielleicht kommen wir mal für nen kurztrip vorbei"

"Wir haben eine schöne Zeit im kleinen, aber sehr schönen Studio im Bootshaus verbracht. Die Terasse ist ein Traum. Leider konnten wir den Fitnessraum nicht nutzen. Das Hallenbad im Marinahafen konnte auch nicht kostenfrei genutzt werden. Stavoren ist auf jeden Fall eine Reise wert."

"Amazing location in a gorgeous part of Edam. The property owner was very kind, generous and friendly. But the property is much smaller than photos suggest. It needs a great deal of maintenance to modernise and make safe all aspects of it. It was not clean… the toilet was disgusting and the shower room not as clean as we would have hoped. There was nowhere to sit and eat outside… the garden was over grown and unkempt which meant we did not feel we could relax there. Martin was so lovely, we were...

"We had a house for 10 people for our whole family. The house, park and the surroundings are beautiful and big, the house wasn‘t super clean but it was fine. The furnishing is pretty basic, something to hang up the towels in the bathroom would be nice and you really need to bring everything. But that‘s the only criticism. Indoor playground and pool were a highlight for our kids! We had a beautiful stay!"

"We loved EVERYTHING. Friendly and useful staff, beautiful and peaceful surroundings, the cottage was spacious and clean, and supplied with sufficient equipment (including a recent dishwasher and quite comfortable beds). Only 20 minutes away from Amsterdam if you fancy a visit , but Volendam itself is definitely worth exploring. We highly recommend this place ."

Apartment was clean and well equipped with linens, soaps, and kitchen supplies. Amsterdam and the airport are but a short train ride away. Paul was a great host, even taking us for a tour of Almere’s canals. Check in and out was a breeze. We highly recommend this apartment to others."

The old-fashioned charm of this 17th Century town, the forest of masts of the vessels in the harbour, the excellent transport to surrounding towns, and the friendliness of the people made this a fantastic break. wow"

"Sehr schöne kleine Ferienwohnung mit besonderem Charme durch die Dachterrasse. Alles da, was es braucht. Trotz der zentralen Lage kaum Stadtgeräusche, lediglich die Glockenspiele sind auch nachts zu hören. Das Schlafzimmerfenster ist nicht zu öffnen, es gibt nur einen kleinen Lüftungsschlitz. Sowohl da Bett als auch das Schlafsofa sind sehr bequem!"

"Renting the property was quick and straightforward. Good communication with the owner. However, on arrival the property especially the upstairs rooms were very dusty I asked for mop which was provided but was unable to used due to the complicated process of putting the mop together. Overall, we didn't have much experience at the amenities bcos we were out most times. But I would definitely go back to explore the place more."

"Die Sauberkeit des Ferienhauses ließ zu wünschen übrig, sonst war das Haus schön. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, sprach aber kein deutsch. Wir hatten um einen Late Check out gebeten, dieses war nur für maximal 2 stunden möglich und sollte 35,- € kosten!!! Wir sind daher einen Tag früher abgereist um uns den Stress am frühen Morgen zu ersparen!"
