"Black Diamond Retreat was a wonderful place for a family gathering. Both indoor and outdoor areas were spacious and gave everyone room to spread out and wander. "We had a very nice stay at this property. It was very clean, very convenient location to Santander area, Pagonda, Train station , and much more. Amazing Diner right down the road. "Leon & Janeen were kind and responsive, making sure we had all we needed. The house was perfect! Exactly what we were looking for. It is quiet and private with a nice view of fields and a creek outside, and lots of birds and squirrels. Everything seems to be new inside, and has a nice and clean design. The kitchen is big with lots of counter space and good appliances, which was very helpful for us since we cook every day. Thank you so much!"

"This is a very old Victorian style house. It has noisy steam heat; barely working locks (some don't work at all), and sketchy electrical. We booked 2br/2ba, which got us the 2nd and 3rd floors (host lives on the 1st floor). Furnishings are old; kitchens are functional, but that's it. Water pressure was VERY low. "We stayed in the cottage for a weekend when our daughter graduated from nearby Kutztown University. It was the perfect spot to chill and hang out the day before and after the ceremony.
