Some of the door locks broken in the ladies bathrooms and the room we stayed in was clearly broken into through the door and patched but it made it had to open and close the door but the staff fantastic and super friendly just little maintenance needed

Good Basic accomodation
Allocated room in Old Hotel section - room was clean & tidy and basic amentities with shared ablutions- (No AC in room but enjoyed fresh air as on 2nd floor) Negatives - main room light did not work and was very dirty, fridge noisy and TV (all 20" of it did not work at all) Lack of towel racks and clothing hooks in shower/ bathroom

Lithgow is a great area, my room was okay. No fan or air con in hot weather but I was able to open the window. Shared bathroom was clean. The old carpet has been through a lot and smells like it too.

They never enter into the room for house keeping after checked in. I used the same beddings and towels until checkout. Shower hot water temperature is unstable, sometimes gets hot or cold. The location is convenient. TV radio waves are unstable, image is noisy, often blackout because of weak signal. First day beddings were clean.

My wife and I were put up in a different room without a bay view that we had booked. In our room, we found a broken lamp shade, 1 broken ceiling light cover and 1 missing, broken antenna wall cover, broken wall light cover by the bed; mouldy bathroom cupboard, broken bathroom power point switch; too short curtain at the back window, only 1 tea spoon for 2 people, window screens with holes, no air-conditioner; and 1 open water bottle in the fridge.

With some simple bathroom repair and updated improvements this would increase satisfaction by another 2 stars. Chairs comfy, bed comfy and manchester spotless.

The property is dated The area outside the room was littered with cigarette butts and ashtrays The area near the beer garden had broken glass to add to the cigarette butts On the highway and close to the train line it’s noisy The staff on our first night Thursday were awesome friendly the food was great Second night Friday very quiet staff rude almost intimidating when we complained of the pizza not being hot and asked for refund which we DID NOT get lots of reasons why it was warm pizza oven not working properly etc but no apology this isn’t Domino’s Didn’t help that staff began clearing the table before I’d finished eating Raffle which we bought tickets in couldn’t hear the the numbers being drawn didn’t know it was drawn until the used raffle tickets were collected The room was basic clean the cups weren’t washed or replaced on the second day Tv was hit n miss

This is not a family friendly motel, not ideal for kids. The hotel pub next door was very noisy from music and people yelling outside. If you need a good nights rest and have to get up early don’t stay here!

I had to kick my door to open it, and to make sure it was closed. Cleanliness was great. Light in bathroom did not work. Which is why I stayed. No other reason. Noise was all night from trucks and traffic. Right on hwy at the lights so it was noisy and all trucks had to brake and then start up again.Only about fifteen feet from road. Asked when I booked in if it was possible to switch to the last room away from road. Not full but told no due to booking being completed. This is a place where workers get a clean bed and a room and meal. I would not recommend it for any other purpose.

The Commercial is a relatively clean, typical shared-bathroom pub accommodation. Good for a night. But the electric kettles are in serious need for replacement. Mine had brown flakes in it making a morning cup impossible. Gross and easily rectified if properly spotted by management.

so it old and run down,but that is ok. But room not serviced during stay and no hot water in the morning. Kinda a must in Lithgow.Do not recommend

not sure why room wasn't serviced but will speak to cleaners...if you haven't heard news there was a gas pipe line break, the whole town was no gas or hot water, we apologise for the convenience, but it is out of our control

The location is within distance to everything. The things I dont like are: 1. no wifi in the room 2. the toilet flush is on and off 3. one of the bathroom sliding doors is broken 4. blanket is dirty, I think its been there for a while

Wifi is advertised but is not present in the room. Wifi is available in hotel building but a few steps outside that building and the signal has diminished to almost nothing. In the motel building there is no indication that the wifi network even exists. When this was brought to the attention of the woman on reception, she just said that the signal comes and goes and i should take ot up with senior management; do e with a don't-care-not-my-problem attitude.

Stayed here as we were doing a ghost tour in Bathurst and couldn’t get accomodation there as the 12hr race was on. Stayed 13/5/2022.Room was comfortable although we were a little worried about the door as it only had a simple lock on it ,no chain..As it was attached to the hotel we were disturbed by passing noise. They need to replace the fridges as they run non stop and very noisy. The girl who checked us in was lovely.Also if you go out you will lose your car space outside your room . We parked in front of the entrance as there wasn’t anything else..
