We love visiting Marquette and this apartment was in a perfect location to visit our favorite spots. It was so clean, comfortable, and also beautifully decorated (the teenagers loved it!). The kitchen had everything we needed to cook some meals. We would definitely stay again!

Second stay!
This is the second time we’ve stayed at this house. It does not disappoint. The location is ideal for anything in Marquette and the house is historical and charming. Will definitely be back. The owners are pleasant and easy to communicate with.

Classy and comfortable
We loved nearly everything about this beautiful home! The location is central to everything we wanted…coffee/breakfast options, a fabulous brewery, shops, and the NMU campus were all walkable. The amazing location had the minor drawback of some noise at night from the (students? bar patrons?) but I always travel with NC headphones so it was a temporary nuisance. We loved the unique and historic touches in the home and enjoyed the upstairs sun porch and the downstairs front porch. The home was spotless and check-in/out was seamless. We would stay again (and hope to!)

Perfect location!
This is a fantastic rental! The location was close to everything we wanted to do. We walked so many places. The bonus of bikes made our weekend. We biked to and around Presque Isle along with to NMU’s campus. Already booked this property for pit next visit to Marquette.

Nice 2nd floor unit in excellent location
Had a great stay at Midtown Manor. Absolutely loved the location and space. Bikes were excellent, kitchen and bathroom were in good shape and well-stocked. Had minor difficulties getting down many narrow flights of stairs to do laundry only to find that they required $1.75 worth of quarters to do a load (may have just missed that in the description). The very squeaky doors/jambs/floors were tricky with kids/partners sleeping, but that’s to be expected in an older (and beautiful!) home. If you want to be right in the thick of it, this location can’t be beat.

Girls Road Trip
Unless we missed it, there was no indication that we would have to climb a flight of steps with all our bags. This was only an issue for those with bad knees. Otherwise, it was a WONDERFUL experience. The owners were friendly and quick to respond despite the fact they were out of the country!! (Heads up, several flights of steps to get to the laundry facility.)

It was perfect. We were able to walk to downtown Marquette. The kitchen was nice because we enjoy cooking as a family . The only improvement would be sharper knives.

Pretty great experience. Fat bikes being added to the vrbo was a huge plus for our group that was in Marquette for weekend of winter biking. Coffee shop across the street has great coffee. Beds we’re comfortable. All around, easy stay that had everything you would need.

Nice place. Fair price.
Great place to stay for no more than two couples, I’d say. Or a family of four. Place was clean, great location and spacious for our group of four. My two suggestions to the owner would be to correct the draft and rickety front door. It stays locked, but it’s got a loose jiggle to it and I’m sure it’s letting cold air in. Also, some ziplock baggies would be good. Maybe some aluminum foil for the kitchen. Oh, and a tea kettle is another kitchen item that was missing. All in all thought, we were pleased with the rental. We loved our time spent there and will most likely use this rental again.

Park your car and walk everywhere
What a great place in a perfect location to enjoy what Marquette has to offer. We enjoyed our stay, and loved the fact that we could walk to all the places we love to visit on Third St and in downtown. We'd certainly consider staying at this location again for future visits!

One of the best rentals I've ever stayed in
I'm almost hesitant to write a review because I don't want anyone to know about this place lol. Absolutely awesome. The house is extremely spacious and perfect for myself, son and Father In Law. Full kitchen with nice plates, utensils, coffee maker, etc. So often a lot of rentals have nasty, dirty, very worn out items in the kitchen.. not here, it felt like I was in my own home. Beds are really comfortable and the couch and chair in living room are the same. The location is second to none. We never got in a car to go to dinner. Everything is a short walk or bike ride. Tom, the owner, is a great guy. He gave us so much advice on bike trails, things to do and jist a cool dude to talk to. Both him and his wife are just great people. Having the extra free rental bike for my Father In Law was really a huge and appreciated bonus. I can't wait to go back. What a magical place this is, one of the best rentals I've ever stayed in. Thanks again Tom for being such an awesome super host.

Great Location
The rental is the upstairs apartment of an historic home. It is nicely decorated and appointed with everything we needed. We enjoyed using the bikes and eating breakfast on the sun porch. Contrast Coffee is right across the street. They offer wonderful crepes and waffles to go with your morning tea/coffee. Enjoy!

Clean, Beautiful, Fun Location
We had a blast at the Marquette Midtown Manor! Four of us adults stayed here for the weekend to go skishoeing and check out the North Country Trail. We could not have asked for a better location and for a more comfortable stay. We loved the location, so close to the Blackrocks Brewery, Contrast Coffee Co, and Third Street Bagels. This was an excellent place to get cozy after a long day out on the trails! Tom was very quick to respond to my messages and very helpful throughout our stay (the roads were icy and Tom was out early salting the drive). I would absolutely come back again and stay here.

Great location plus snow biking
Tom is great as he is flexible with check in /out times which allows us to maximize biking. Further, the bikes are always tuned up perfectly. Location is so close to restaurants and coffee shops.

Great place!
We really enjoyed our stay at Alicia and Tom's property. The location was amazing, as we could walk anywhere we needed to go around town. The property was well stocked with everything you need for your stay. The communication was great from the very beginning, and Tom was great from getting us set up with a couple of fat bikes, to giving us directions and advice on things around town. It seems like we saw him just about everywhere around town, and every time we chatted for a few and learned new things. We would definitely recommend staying here, and will probably stay here again ourselves.

Perfect for NMU visit!
The home was very comfortable for our group. Everything looked beautiful. Everything functioned well. We were able to play games and hang out when we came back for the evening. The property has a lot of character and quirky charm, complete with squeaky wooden flooring that brought back childhood memories! And the location is wonderful. Just steps away from two quality coffee shops and within walking distance of campus and downtown. We enjoyed our stay and will have this location on our shortlist when we come back to Marquette.

The house has an charming feel with tasteful timeless decor. We appreciated the cleanliness. The included bikes with our rental it’s definitely a plus. Thank you Tom for the bikes!!! The location couldn’t be better! Walking distance from downtown and all the city has to offer. Plenty of shops ,restaurants and little artsy stores right on Third street. We were here for five nights to mountain bike and hike. Marquette has so much to offer for outdoorsy people at a relatively short distance. Hope to be back “UP” here soon !

You cannot get a better location in Marquette MI . Centrally located near the School, Dome and parks. Within walking distance to restaurants and Breweries. A splendid stay!
My wife and I spent 3 nights at the property and enjoyed it thoroughly. On arrival, it was evident the home had been cleaned and prepared with care. The home, itself, offers very welcoming, comfortably and tastefully furnished spaces, including attractive wall art. The kitchen is very well equipped. Most welcome, too, the house is extremely quiet. Despite its centric location, we heard no outside noise in the master bedroom. Net, exceedingly comfortable and welcoming home. The location is terrific. A few short blocks from the heart of downtown Marquette ( a quaint and not very large, enjoyable town center), entirely walkable. Yet, its location on 3rd street is surrounded by nice, different restaurants (I'd recommend Bodega and Thai House), a couple of breweries, etc. Just plain nice. Great place to stay, would go back in a heartbeat!
