I have ms I walk with a cane my balance or gate is not the best so I use the back of my hands or forearms at times for balance. Bonnie is constantly telling me I just cleaned that and I don't want to have to do it again.l don't say this or if I do it is to myself. Nag nag nag. I don't think there is a better place that is maintained as well as this. The "continental breakfast" is a joke, consists of cheap walmart donut holes, ( blue berry at that and oatmeal raisin )cookies and fruitcups. She was here for only two days. I am sure walmart would love hearing that. That is what a continental breakfast is . If one was to look up the definition. It is not a buffet or prepared meal and menu. We do that free because some people have not gone to the grocery store yet and when they get up in the morning they have a little something there for them to eat. Sealed with the freshness dates on them.; I pick the furthest fresshness dates on them. The guest have to be the first ones to break the seal. Now with covid being amplified as it is. State requirements with out a food licence. . A state lady/ a paying guest was in shortly there after and said you are doing everything exactly as required by state law. Also, be prepared to be insulted by the owner, Bob. Check in time is between 3&7 PM. She was early she beat me there. . Most people call ahead and ask if is ok to come early. she did not. Bonnie was there in the room going over some things with her when I got there with the continental breakfast. I set them on a little island in the kitchen area we have and made this comment. After all it is food.(my insult) Looks like you could use some meat on your bones. She was young and I could see she took good care of herself. I have 40 maybe 50 years on her and that comment I made has been around before me and I never had heard it said in a insulting manner. If that is an insult than I am guilty. Michigan is no smoking. State. She was a smoker and from Madison Wisconsin. We have a no smoking or vaping sign that leads out to the screened in porch where one can go and sit and enjoy a cup of coffee if they like. She asked if she could smoke there, Bonnie said no. Smoking is allowed down by the gazebo. She did not like hearing that. You have your review. Did you ever feel you been lied too. We were aware they were celebrating their anniversary. So we thought some balloons and a card would make their arrival that much better. Looking forward to seeing you again.
