Quaint boutique style hotel. Our bathroom was recently redone & very nice & functional. Our bed was very comfortable. Location is where all the high end shopping was. My wife loved it.

The property has a charm .... its location is also a plus since it is on The Grand Canal. It could also use further upgrading... a lobby configuration that is freshened up and more conducive to sitting and watching the passers bye. the ventilation system is limited in that during the evening when I required cooling, I had to open windows for coolness... this allowed the late night street noise to come in. The BIGGEST plus is how friendly and helpful the vast majority of the staff was!!!

It's a great museum if you like modern art. At least it provides a contrast to the Renaissance art which is widespread in Venice.

Relax and enjoy the garden while you are there.Loved my white asparagas lunch.The young art guides are great to talk to.
