Our mom and dad getaway
My husband and I came to getaway for the weekend. It was our first time away from our son since he was born and it was so amazing to just be able to reconnect and relax in this adorable studio. Perry and his wife are so sweet. Perry brought their dogs over shortly after we got checked in to introduce himself and let us know they were there if we needed them. This studio was perfect for us. We saw some deer right off the balcony. So cute!

We loved staying at Julie and Parry's studio home! Absolutely gorgeous view, perfect accomodations for us two seniors. We had everything we needed and with a surprise snowfall, Parry was quick to plow so we could travel on. We would stay again in a heartbeat!

I absolutely loved staying in this little hideaway. It was perfect to escape the Phoenix heat and relax. The studio was more spacious than I anticipated. It’s a little guest house that is separate from the main house and very private. It has a beautiful balcony with a stunning view. I felt very safe walking around the neighborhood with my little pup. Even though it feels tucked away, it’s only about a 10-15 minute drive to downtown Prescott/Whiskey Row. I can’t say enough good things and I will definitely be back!

Outstanding property - considerate host
The house was well-appointed, well-decorated and well supplied. The host checked with us each day to make sure things were as we would want them. When he and his wife went to church on Sunday, they invited us to use their hot tub in their absence. It being 97 degrees, we passed, but it was a gracious offer. Unqualified recommendation. I will book again when i next go back to Flagstaff.

This property is exceptional. In a beautiful neighborhood, but is very private and quiet. Hosts are very kind. It was very well appointed and clean. A few minor points would be to have cleaners dust and vacuum cobwebs on interior and exterior, replace cushions on chairs on deck & sharpen Kitchen knives and replace bottle opener that was rusted. Also, more explanation of how to operate TV etc, with the 4 remotes. These are very little things, and we fully enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful and peaceful spot
My husband and I were there for four nights and it was perfect for what we wanted. The space is roomy and everything was clean. The bed was comfy and the kitchen well appointed. It was also warm and very quiet. There are great views through all of the windows and the neighborhood has lots of terrain for walking. The location was a 10-12 minute drive to downtown and Whiskey Row with a grocery store and restaurants even closer. The owner introduced himself on our first day there and made sure we had everything we needed and to let him know if we needed anything else. We have put it on our "return to" list next time we visit Prescott :)

The view off the porch is worth the stay and the fireplace made it cozy at night. The Hoddons were a sweet couple available for our questions. We would highly recommend this property…just not on the dates we want to go back!

When the area received snow, we chose to stay inside for the day. Being able to enjoy the incredible view from the large windows was so much better than being stuck in a motel room. Lots of turns to get to house but worth it for the seclusion and view. Still close enough to town and major roads to get around easily.

Charming Getaway in Prescott

Beautiful, charming, serene retreat
What a wonderful vacation retreat and a great place for peace and quiet. The windows, the sunlight, and the deck exemplified the amazing views. Every little detail inside was charming. The hosts offered amazing hospitality and were not intrusive. It felt like a retreat, yet a home away from home. The location is amazing- it's in a great community which feels set apart, but is still close to the city. I would definitely stay here again and am so appreciative of the owners offering this beautiful gem as a retreat for others to enjoy.

Great views!
Nice studio with plenty of mountain biking and hiking trails close by. You feel like you're in the middle of the forest but town is within minutes. Owners were great and checked in to make sure all was well. Great place that we plan on returning to.

We enjoyed our stay immensely. The owners Perry and Jen were welcoming and sweet. The view was spectacular and wildlife was in abundance. This is a place I would recommend and we hope to return someday!

Prescott Mountain Cabin Feel Getaway
Property was very relaxing to stay at. Beautiful views, allowance for pets, and just a laid back vide to the place allowing a person and their family to relax and enjoy their time away. Would recommend to individuals staying with pets.

Had a great time in Prescott and the property was very nice, with an accurate online listing. The only issue we had was internet connection/cell service so we had to put our work away while on the trip. The owners were onsite and responsive.

A Perfect Little House
This house is exactly what I hope to own one day, only in a cooler climate, and maybe with a shower door placed on the right side instead of left of the bathroom wall so it’s not behind the RR door. The house is beautifully built—all the featured were carefully considered (beautiful, wooden, built-in sliding screen doors, for instance). It is just stellar! The location is MAGICAL. The weather was way too hot in June for me to as thoroughly enjoy hiking as I would have, say, in October or November, but alas this is when I have the time off, and we still went for several arduous, enlightening hikes. It was a complete and total pleasure! Thank you for opening your house to us!

Rustic Elegance with a view
An absolutely stunning property. Waking up in the morning to a spectacular view of thumb butte. A rare Post and beam log interior with elegance. It just doesn’t get any better. Host Perry was just wonderful in making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed to make our trip special. This was our first VRBO experience and will be tough to beat. We will definitely be back here on our next trip back to beautiful Prescott. Close to town but seemed miles away. Deer roam the property in the mornings just off the big deck. We were on a house hunting trip to Prescott and this area is exactly where we want to be as it’s just pristine gorgeous. Cheers, Dave & Martha San Diego

What a view!
We had a wonderful weekend getaway. Easily held our family of four. Very clean and had all that we needed, but nothing can beat the spectacular view of Thumb Butte from the back porch! Fantastic!

We had a good time. The property is located walking distance to our relatives, so very convenient. The space is a nice open room with killer views from the balcony. Great for morning coffee. The furniture could use some updating, it is very rustic. The only negative comment relates to the bathroom; it is small and the water pressure is non-existent. Overall we had a nice time and the location can’t be beat.

Even with the owners next door they were very respectful of our privacy. The only thing was the internet wasn't very good which made it a bit hard researching places to move to in the area but we managed. Thanks for the great place to stay.

We stayed here for 2 weeks. Very comfortable. Beautiful. Very welcoming and responsive owners. We enjoyed our time Very much. The only negitive was the deck needed some attention, which we know they were planning on. The cooktop could use some updating. Google maps will not get you there. One of the streets had a locked gate you can not get through so need to look on map and see how to get around. We would stay here again.

Thumb Butte Studio-Perfect Everything!
After two months now I keep coming back to Prescott to enjoy the mountain scenery, hiking, restaurants, golfing, and special community of people in Prescott…This studio is in a new area for me near Thumb Butte and amazing. A short drive several minutes northwest of Historic Downtown, you go through an enchanting forest community with very nice homes to a high point… The studio is very private and set on a hillside surrounded by boulders and trees, and so serene…When you open the back double doors facing west Thumb Butte is right in your face with a gorgeous valley of forest and homes below… The studio feels really large inside and designed so efficiently and cozy, where each part feels like its own room… The natural light all day from the large windows on three sides made it extra nice… My last night I watched a doe clean her two twins for a while in the neighbors yard across the ravine below, and then a spectacular sunset, with Venus over Thumb Butte... I just loved it all! Special thanks to the Haddons for your hospitality. Jeff

The Perfect Weekend Getaway Retreat
Loved this property! It was the perfect weekend retreat for me, my 11-year old son and our 1.5 year-old Labrador Retriever. The Haddons were such gracious hosts and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. The studio is very clean and came with a well-equipped kitchen and bathroom. We had a great view of Thumb Butte from the deck which inspired us to hike it, followed by a leisurely afternoon walking around downtown Prescott. Our dog loved exploring all the new places we visited. We will definitely be back here again and would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a nice, quiet weekend retreat to Prescott!
