Perfect for a quick overnight or an extended stay. Kitchenette to cook or around the block to the restaurants and shopping. Host was excellent and super helpful with maps and suggestions. Very safe. Great stay. Will definitely stay again.

The hotel is fine. The owner (Stefano) was excellent in communication before, during and after our stay. Hotel is well-situated, within walking distances to shopping, museums and Vatican City.

A charming gem in Roma!
We had a wonderful stay at Stèfano’s place. I would 100% stay here again when visiting Rome in the future. It was in a quiet residential part of town, but within walking distance to all the major sights. Beds were comfortable, rooms were cozy & clean. I absolutely loved the charm & character of this place. Stèfano’s recommendations of restaurants & places to go were all wonderful & very helpful for our short stay there. I would highly recommend his accommodations. Thank you for everything Stèfano!

Outstanding welcome
We arrived late, but were welcomed and check in was easy. I was low on cash, and I couldn’t get to a bank machine and still get to the nearby market before it closed. Stefano gave me €20 Euros to get what I needed! Service above and beyond!

The room was perfect. Offered free water (2 bottles) and one bottle of Prosecco. Perfect for our 2 night stay. No amenities since it’s not a hotel. Overall I would stay again

We have just returned from a family mini-break in Rome. Can highly recommend Cassiodoro19 for an ‘authentic’ experience of living in Rome (not just staying in some overpriced and sterile hotel in the centre). As other guests have mentioned, Stefano is the consummate host, passionate about his city and full of tips and suggestions for where to go and what to see. Rooms are quiet and well appointed (with the needed AC) - close to the Vatican City in Prati, a perfect distance to the Vatican and main sights within the city of Rome city itself. You won’t be disappointed 👍🇮🇹

Welcoming quiet base to explore a beautiful city
Highly recommend staying here. It's centrally located to all the major tourist sites but in a lovely, quiet, residential area with lots of great shops and restaurants nearby. Stefanos place is very clean and well equipped and he prides himself on providing a huge amount of information to guests to enable them to have a fabulous stay in Rome. The map he provided was invaluable on our trip and meant that we could start to explore the city the moment we arrived - essential as we were only staying for a few days. If you are looking for a peaceful, welcoming place to stay, I would highly recommend staying at Stefanos. It was just perfect for our first stay in Rome and I hope it won't be our last.

The room had a small kitchen that allowed us to have some basic foods available between enjoying fantastic local restaurants. Stephan is a fantastic host. He helped us get from the airport to the hotel then sat with us marking a map of the many nearby attractions and his favorite restaurants. He was very helpful in making our visit to Rome memorable.

Great short stay. We are a stones throw from Vatican. Stefano was great. so welcoming and made us feel more like we were staying with friends then at a hotel/guest house. Perfect stay
We’ve just returned from a lovely stay! The property is in a great location and we walked absolutely everywhere. There are some lovely cafes and restaurants just around the corner too. Communication was brilliant and Stefano arranged airport transfers for us. Francesco greeted us at check in which was quite late and he went to the shop to get my little boy some milk which was so kind of him. The hosts were absolutely lovely, the room is really comfortable and everything was great. Thanks for a great weekend.

This was my first time in Rome and I could not imagine staying anywhere better than Cassiodoro 19. Every single detail was ensured by the staff to be smooth and effortless. The double-room is perfect for solo travellers and the location of this property is literally perfect. It was about a 10 minute walk to the Vatican and about a 20-25 minute walk to other attractions like the Trevi Fountain and Colosseum. Thank you Cassiodoro 19 for making my trip that much more memorable and wonderful. I can’t wait to come back here.

An amazing property that is in the center of all attractions! Yet a quiet street that was easy to find. Stefan was amazing as a host. He marked out the best places to eat, sites to see and organized all of our transportation needs. He made out trip fabulous! We could easily walk to the Vatican, Spanish Stairs or Trevi Fountain. Streets were clean and very safe as well

Amazing price for the location! Host wanting to help with anything we asked. Super clean living area, just wished I could say the same with the bathroom... The shower curtains hadn't been washed/changed in what seemed like years, leaving an unbearable stench. Other than that, every other little detail was perfect!

Front desk staff called me a cab to the airport the night before since I was leaving very early and they would not be in yet. Cab was right on time. Rooftop not fancy but nice place to sit outside for a little quiet in the crazy city.
