This beautiful hotel is in a beautiful, calm neighborhood and is distance away from major restaurants, shopping malls and highways. The property is immaculate and the staff are welcoming and helpful.

I got here late at night, as I wasn't planning on staying in Tampa. I reserved the room about five minutes before arriving and check-in was a breeze. The front desk staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The rooms were nice and clean, the property was beautiful, and well-maintained, and the rate was very reasonable.

The morning of our departure, there was a cockroach in the bed sheets. We managed to chase it and stepped on it... We were very upset, screaming.. I mentioned it to the staff member while checking out and she said that their manager was suppose to get in contact with you to see what could be done for us,, we were mortified, never seen a bug like that before... Perfect location and within walking distance to the mall and restaurants. The breakfast was better than I expected. Fantastic oatmeal bar. The hotel lacks a restaurant so breakfast was a really nice perk. The staff at check-in were really nice. The room was clean and comfortable.

I’ve never experienced ruder Staff. Maria at the desk was downright rude the entire trip. After issues at check-in, I asked for the GM to reach out to discuss. Never happened. We asked for the room to be cleaned and were told it would be done “Absolutely”. Had to beg to have it done 6 hours later. Breakfast was cold and hard, staff were always hiding in the back, and the grounds were littered with trash/cigarette butts. Do not stay here.

What I don’t like about Fairfield stays is the heating and cooling system. They are noisy and they dry out the air so much it feels like a desert in the room. Everything else is fine.

Overall a good stay. They had a very nice pack and play crib for our toddler to sleep in and it was brought to the room at no extra cost. Only major downfall is that they advertise a shuttle to the airport but it is only from 9am-5pm Monday to Friday which hardly makes sense being next the airport and being the main reason guests likely stay there. When I asked the front desk about a taxi at 4am the gentleman gave me a card to call. This was for a limo type service that cost us $35 plus tip cash for a 1.5 mile car ride. We should of paid that extra money for a room at a different hotel with actual shuttle service. Another disappointing "fine print" added to our vacation on top of everything else.
