"There is nothing noteworthy about this property. There are no restaurants nearby and the one in house is not that good in terms of ambience, food choice etc. Breakfast was ok."

"Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Die MitarbeiterInnen dieses Hotel lesen den Gästen die Wünsche ab den Lippen. Das Essen und die Aussicht, einfach alles stimmt. Einziger Wermutstropfen: Der Internet empfang ist manchen Zimmer schwach. Ansonsten aber alles super."

Wrongfully Charged for Extra Person, Rude Service
"Worst hotel and rudest customer service in 25 years We were wrongfully charged for meals for an extra guest ! The hotel at Pelling said they couldn’t do anything abt it. So I called and emailed the Elgin main customer service at Kolkata couple of times. They were extremely rude, and hung up on me ..."
