We stayed four nights at Hotel Aurum Uffizi. Great location, walkable to Ponte Vecchio, Duomo, Uffizi and mercato centrale. Room was clean and modern and bathroom was relatively large but extremely clean. Bathroom would benefit from more hooks or rails to hang towels. Breakfast was simple but satisfying, however the dining area is small and relies on people staying only going for their breakfast at their agreed time, nominated at check in (which was not monitored or facilitated by staff and we experienced a morning where we could not sit down for breakfast as the dining area was full). The location is great, but the laneway is popular with locals gathering late at night to drink and chat which can be problematic if you are a light sleeper. All round great value accommodation in a great location. We would stay here again.

Everything was perfect except the space. A bit cramped but overall we will book this place again. 3 mins walk to the centrale train station. Near Mercato. Very good.
