Not a good experience

Luxury hotel, nicely decorated. However there was a big construction work outside of the hotel, which was quite annoying. I booked this hotel since they had a outdooor swimming pool and SPA, however both were closed due to covid. I took 1 day breakfast, which was very bad quality for such a hotel. All jams were packaged. Plate was very poor. Thay serve it to the table, ordered also omelette and was not able to eat due to its fat. Was swimming in oil. We were even not allowed to eat at their garden. Which I found very strange, since normally all outside places and pools were open already in the city. They said that there are dogs coming to tables, means that they havent even found any solutions for the street dogs, no fence, etc...Some of the staff was good some were not. When I called and asked to bring our car, answer I received was' ''our colleague hasnt started the job yet, he comes at 11 am..'' so wasnt happy about their valet parking, had to wait long time everytime, althoguh there were only couple of people staying in the hotel. I am not sure if I would stay here again.

Not what you expect from a 5* hotel like this!

Voordelen: The outside pool and the nice pool man, however he did not speak English. Taxi's waiting outside the hotel. The Asia suite was nice and comfortable
Nadelen: Teaching English to their staff and how to treat a guest the way it should
Hotel staff is very incapable to do their job, does not speak any word of English, especially the staff working in the restaurant. One manager of the restaurant was very distrustful when I signed an invoice. Had to sign twice, because I think he wanted to double check my room number and signature! Dead cockroach in the restaurant for the entrance to the outside and none of the staff cared. Cleaning staff was terrible, the suite was very dusty. The food in the restaurant was not bad but not great too. Only positive was the front office manager Güvenç GÖKTAŞ who sent us an email with his apologies for not responding to our info mail. He made it up to a bottle of wine and send some sweets to our room.

Kamer deluxe zag er goed uit en erg schoon. Verder zijn de medewerkers zeer vriendelijk.
