Voordelen: The location - we didn't want to be in the centre of town. Robert, Anna and their team - always helpful, friendly and courteous.
Nadelen: The bathroom - small, but in need of a freshen up.
Locatie: Ferry to Limone. Swimming, sunbathing and fishing. Windsurfing, sailboarding, sailing - all available close by.
We changed to this hotel shortly before travelling mainly because it was able to guarantee parking for guests. I am so pleased we came here. Roberto, Anna and their team were excellent. They were always friendly and helpful and went out of their way to be of assistance.
The hotel is some 5 km from Malcesine. We had a balcony room with a view of the lake. Yes, it's on the road, but the traffic noise was not intrusive. The room was fairly basic but a good size and clean. Only downside, the bathroom was very small and tired-looking, could have done with a refurb. Otherwise no criticisms of the hotel. It's a reasonable walk (about 20 minutes) to get the ferry across to Limone - always worth a visit.
The restaurant was a pleasant surprise, we chose to eat there every evening, because it was so good with a wide choice on the menu. Very well cooked Italian food. The salt beef and beans particularly recommended by my other half! For me - pasta all vongole!
So, it's not a 4 star hotel, but the service certainly is. I would stay here again and would recommend it.

Locatie: a pie de carretera, paradas bus en la puerta
El hotel (mas bien Hostal) está a pie de carretera, no esta mal, muy secillo. Nos dieron una habitación doble en un lateral..asi que lo de las vistas al lago fue la parte más decepcionante, solo se veia una parte entre los edificios y árboles.La habitacion tenia una cama supletoria fija, que reducia bastante el espacio de la ya pequeña habitación. En general esta bien para una noche o dos, a dos pasos de la playita y en coche 10min de Malcesine. Hay paradas bus delante del hotel.

Room was so small that it was not possible to close the bathroom door and furniture / bathroom was both in bad condition and not well cleaned. Breakfast quantity ok, but bad quality. Not so important for us, but it should be noticed that the hotel is about 3km outside Malcesine city.

Geplaatst op 10 mei 2012 op Hotelsvery nice reception and service. rooms clean and confortable, with view on the garda lake. close to the road but no disturbing noise. delicious food at the restaurant with nice advises from the host. would definitly recommand for a stop on the itinerary to discover Garda lake and Valpolicella wine region.

Room with a VIEW!
Geplaatst op 15 aug. 2011 op HotelsThough this hotel is in Navene, not Malcesine (which is not specified on the paperwork), the hotel was very nice. The view was simply magnificent! Definitely get the room with a view, which is slightly smaller than other rooms, but definitely worth it! Malcesine is a spectacular city, and I think my fiance and I found our retirement spot...yes...we are looking 30+ years down the road already. It was just that nice. Definitely go up to the top of Mt. Baldo via sky bus. Can't want to go back!

Lake view
Geplaatst op 23 jul. 2011 op HotelsI booked a room with a view of lake Garda but was given a room facing the back yard. After I spoke to the manager he agreed to move us the next day.
We were given a room with a lake view or at least we would have if I had taken a chainsaw to the trees that were obstructing our view. The actual view was about the size of an a4 sheet of paper.
The breakfast was exactly the same every day with very little choice and if you missed the eggs then that was it.
The staff were very friendly however.
