The check-in representative was polite, friendly, knowledgeable, and provided excellent service. However, after returning from dinner, I sat in the lobby while waiting for my husband and observed another employee being extremely rude to the representative who had checked me in. 'When we arrived it was our dinner time. Noticed a Texas Roadhouse within walking distance. The front desk person offered a coupon and listened to our request to be away from the pool. He was helpful, friendly and gave good advice. Breakfast the next morning was full and ready when we arrived. Parking well lit and felt safe.'

'I had a pleasant stay overall. The room was nice, clean, and very roomy, which made it comfortable and relaxing. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming throughout my visit, and the food downstairs was very good. A couple of small improvements would make the experience even better. The room could use better lighting, and having an additional garbage can would have been helpful. Other than that, it was a great stay, and I would consider staying here again.'

'Key cards continue to not work for two days straight. I had to get them redone. This resulted in me being outside of the hotel at 3 AM, unable to get in until finally the front door worked. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. It’s clearly not their fault but this was not a good experience would not recommend.'

'Wallace and Nancy are the most gracious hosts. The property is beautiful, you can feel your stress melt away, and while this property is very close to the best restaurants and shopping, when hanging out at the cottage it is easy to forget you are in the city, it feels like you have escaped to the countryside. We had the best breakfast in the mornings....mixed fresh fruit with creme and granola, followed by eggs benedict and for dessert gooey homemade brownie...was just one of the awesome treats...

'This place was ok.... smelled a little funny and there are signs everywhere that say no smoking but we walked into the HOT room and it smelled like cigarettes. It got better once we turned the AC on. Boogers on the wall no hand soap and stains on the bed. Alot could have been better but it also could've been alot worse.'
