'If you love nature, you will love The Canopy! We spotted a platypus on the first day and a cassowary on our way out! The birds are beautiful and the turtles plentiful. The staff were kind and helpful. They even built a fire for us on a cool day. Loved every minute of our time there. '

'Fabulous place, decor, atmosphere, people! So glad we stayed here instead of Atherton. Quaint Norman Rockwell setting. Owner went out of their way to make our stay superb. Attention to detail in and out. Great recommendation s for area as well. '

'Wonderful place to retreat for a few days with beautiful walks on the property through tropical forest. If you like nature and seclusion this is the place for you. The rooms are well maintained, clean and comfortable with all the amenaties needed for self catering. There is however, no Wifi access in the room and telephone coverage is poor; so I would not recomend this for someone who needs to stay connected. Otherwise, no complaints and an enjoyable stay.'

'A really lovely property with absolutely delightful hosts. We had a 2 bedroom townhouse near the pool. Parking was downstairs and really only suited a small car (ours poked out the front). Well stocked kitchen, lots of accessories and wine glasses! Would be nice to have a few larger drinking glasses available. Main bedroom had lovely view of the Lake. Other bedroom overlooked the pool, unfortunately the mattress was like concrete, time for an upgrade perhaps. Screens throughout meant lovely...

'Debbie heeft prachtige boomhutten gebouwd midden in de natuur. Je huisje is super volledig ingericht, alles is aanwezig. Prachtige houten vloer, bubbelbad en als je zelf wilt koken olie, zout , peper alles is er. We haddem alleeen heel,erg pech regen regen regen en dan verveel je er een beetje. Dus daarom al na 1 nacht weggegaan. Helaas geen wifi'
