'De prijs/kwaliteit verhouding van dit hotel is uitstekend. Voor mij op een gunstige locatie in Shanghai gelegen. Vlakbij 2 grote metro stations op loopafstand. De buurt vind ik ook leuk. Deels het moderne China maar ook voldoende authentiek China met hier en daar wat rauwe randjes. Daar voel ik mij thuis.'

'what I like about the renaissance hotel is mainly the atmosphere in the hotel. A lot of chinese hotels are beautiful but overwhelming huge. Too high ceilings, too much marmor. The renaissance is more boutique like with good sound and atmosphere. Everything is there, very comfortable but not overdone'

'Het personeel is heel vriendelijk. Het hotel geeft je een relaxed gevoel. Kamers zijn mooi en de service is perfect. Enig nadeel : Wifi. Waarschijnlijk omdat ik niet over een Chinees nummer beschikte. Het buffet mag misschien iets uitgebreider, maar prijs / kwaliteit is ok. '

'Got an earlier check-in as usual and a room on a higher floor. Thank you Jin Jiang Tower for my stay. Plus the housekeeping ladies were so friendly to clean my room in the afternoon because I slept in until noon :-).'

'hotel is in feb.2009 geopend,ligt op een mooie locatie buiten het (drukke) centrum ,waar je geen spijt van krijgt.metro is op 2 min .loop afstand waar onder andere ook veel winkels te vinden zijn.goedkoopste electronica is te vinden at the best bye shop,10 min lopen vanaf het hotel.Ontbijt is in verhouding duur,maar de bakker is dichtbij te vinden.top hotel!'

'The concierge team is super efficient and wonderful. It was a lean team but they deal with the challenges with professionalism. Not only they assisted with my taobao orders, and transportation needs, they also gave excellent suggestions on what i should do'

'The hotel is old but relatively well maintained. The beds are really good and the breakfast is amazing! Don’t expect much from the swimming pool tho. Stayed with my family including two kids of 2&4, it was really nice especially the location giving you fast access to Lujiazui and the bund with a taxi as well as some malls on walking distance. People with small kids - please take a 5min taxi from the hotel to the LCM mall, there’s a peppa pig world on the top floor. '

'All good except (1) sound proof poor. Can hear everything next door. (2) shower hot/cold faucet doesn’t work - took more time to get right temp than shower itself. Other than these the hotel is great.'
