'Great stay, lovely pool with the greatest Nile view, and all staff is so kind and service-oriented, from the reception desk, to the gardemers, from security to barkeeper. You feel at home! Our room was comfortable, the only issue is the fact that there is a mosque nearby, and the morning prayers are early and loud, and the room is not very soundproof... But, this is clearly compensated by all the positives.'

'We booked the Royal Lily through Hotels.com rather than as part of a wider tour. The whole experience was excellent from start to finish. I would strongly recommend travelling with Movenpick if you are visiting Egypt independently rather than as part of a tour. 'This cruise exceeded my expectations. Spacious cabins, wonderful sundeck, excellent food, smooth cruising, small capacity relative to other boats and service oriented staff made for a very enjoyable time. At first I was going to book my own guides, but opted instead to book the cruise's siteseeing package. Glad I did, Hamad our guide was outstanding and there can be delays in the cruise do to timing in the river locks which could make coordination with outside guides difficult and stressful. ...

'We spend a good time in this hotel, it’s well located and has a friendly staff. Breakfast is good and servers are attentive. It is however a bit worn out in the inside but still a very good place to stay for relaxing by the pool and gardens. '

Mohamed at the entrance was very kind and the kids felt as if they came home, the rest of the trip they kept talking about this hotel. They helped with arranging drivers and tours where asked. 'The hotel is not in the best condition. They definitely need new towels and new sheets. Also, when you eat in their restaurant and put the bill on your room, make sure you take a picture of the bill. When we checked out, the charges weren't correct (it was more than what was actually charged). Welcome to Egypt ;) '

We also got a free upgrade to a suite. The only part I would have liked to know before booking was the sightseeing was not included in the itinerary, so it must be paid on board. I would have liked that it was mentioned in the same itinerary and the extra cost per person per day. '
