Cascade hotel werd Cascade appartement
Hotel geboekt maar kregen een appartement. Erg rustig gelegen, perfect voor ons, maar kan mij voorstellen als je jong bent erg saai. Je hebt hier wel vervoer nodig om ergens te komen. Internet was niet optimaal. Eten in hotel was prijzig.

Wij hadden na de foto's te hebben bekeken, 6 dagen dit appartement geboekt. Aangekomen bleek dat het hotel te zijn en lag het appartement aan een weg en keek je tegen de achterkant van het hotel op het complex waar de andere gasten langslopen of rijden. Om toch privacy te krijgen vertelde het meisje van de receptie dat ze ons een mooie aanbieding kon doen, voor een aanzienlijk bedrag per dag meer (mag geen bedragen noemen van expedia) hadden wij een rustige plek waar we in het zonnetje konden liggen. Voor Portugese prijzen erg veel geld. Mijn man wilde hier toch gebruik van maken om de vakantie niet in een flop te laten eindigen. We hebben ook nog geprobeerd het om te zetten naar het hotel maar dan moesten we opnieuw betalen en maar zien of we ons geld voor het appartement terug kregen. De buitenfoto's die je ziet zijn allemaal van het hotel. Het is een prima complex alleen als je de mooie foto's ziet denk je ook dat je dat krijgt en dat is dus niet zo.

When we were checking into the hotel, we were bounced around to several different staff, which was fine as we weren’t in a rush, but just generally felt quite disorganized and not very welcoming. We stayed in one of the apartment style rooms, which was very spacious with a living room and kitchen. However, the room itself and hotel seem like they are really in need of an update which made it seem unclean. When we arrived to our room, there was a stream of ants entering from a crack in the patio door, through the living room and bedroom and into the bathroom. The hotel and cleaning staff were quick to remedy the situation; however, not a great way to start the stay and we found at least one ant in our bed every night. We only ended up eating in a hotel restaurant once for a small snack as the prices here are significantly higher than the restaurants found in town. The hotel is in a quiet, secluded area and nice for walks to the bluffs, but if you are wanting to be in the town of Lagos, this is not the place for you. Definitely not a 5 star resort.

This was our second time here. We were amazed that the majority of staff were the same as last year and that they remembered us. We absolutely loved our stay here, they are large rooms with excellent bathrooms and large balcony. All the staff from the cleaners up are polite and very helpful. The restaurant has a good range on the menu all well prepared, there are a range of bar snacks too if you prefer. The bar is excellent with a wide range of cocktails, beers and wines. We will definitely return.

came here during offseason - its very difficult to find the amenities and you have to walk very very far to find anything and the signs are all wrong. We followed a sign that ended up taking us to parking lot and had I not held the door we would've been locked out with no service or a way to get back in. Overall, the staff was ok when we checked in and just demanded our passports right away. She literally said who are you? instead of Hello, how was your flight. It was also far away from everything. Next time I would just do another hotel closer to the beaches and the old town. It felt like a 3 star hotel and not a 5 star hotel

Gorgeous resort, right along the water with gorgeous views of the cliffs. We had a problem with the hot water in the first unit we were in. But the staff was very attentive and helped us immediately find another apartment and move all of our stuff over to the new location. I was very impressed with their professionalism. The restaurants on site are great options if you don't feel like venturing into Lagos. Very happy with our stay here.

I highly recommend this property. Amazing service. Great spa. AND wonderful trails to explore the cliffs that this property sits on. No need to gi anywhere for food unless u want to explore Lagos more. They have three restaurants on site and there’s a huge breakfast buffet with made to order omelettes. and pancakes. Two pools: one heated and one not. Overall, the service level is what impressed me the most. Highly recommend.

This is a beautiful resort and the staff is exceptional. Our room was very large, clean, and comfortable and our balcony had an amazing view! The entire staff at the gastropub were excellent and the food and beverages outstanding!!

Big basic apartments and beautiful beach nearby
We stayed in the apartments which could be older than the actual hotel rooms. The room was big but very basic so 5 stars are more about the services that the resort provides (spa, gym, golf, tennis) and not the luxurious accommodation. We had a car so it was easy to reach but it is 30 min walk from Lagos-center so if you don’t have a car, you need a to prepare to walk to get to the restaurants etc. I would imagine this would be a perfect spot for families and groups. The trails and the beach nearby are soooo beautiful!
