Architecturally beautiful hotel, both the old wing and the modern wing. Wonderful staff, very service minded. Great view. Delicious breakfast buffet. Great dining restaurant. Beautiful large pool.

Hele mooie accommodatie. Echter weinig faciliteiten (restaurants en cafés) in de buurt. Geen koffie op de kamer. Het meeneem ontbijt i.v.m. de vroege vlucht was karig.

Jammer dat er geen koffie en thee voorziening is
Prima hotel voor een paar nachten. Kamer is zeer ruim maar eenvoudig. Er is geen thee of koffie voorziening op de kamer. Bed is slecht omdat het veel te hard is. Was wel een aardige wandeling naar de kamer. Ontbijt was oké zeker ook omdat je koffie en een ei gerecht apart kan bestellen.

Een heerlijk verblijf, het huis en tuinen.
Topkwaliteit. Alleen het zicht door het raam liet te wensen over. Het is niet zo duidelijk dat er naast het roccocogedeelte ook een moderne vleugel is.

Mooi hotel met prachtig uitzicht
Het hotel is gelegen in de kelder van het oude paleis. Elke kamer heeft een balkon en vooral als je op 2 en 1 zit, kun je genieten van een mooi uitzicht. Het moderne restaurant is in het gebouw zelf gevestigd. De gerechten zijn een beetje simpel, niet echt verfijnd en prijs/kwaliteit niet zoals het zou moeten zijn in een SLH. Gelukkig is het dorpje Almancil op 15-20 minuten rijden en daar zijn veel lekkere restaurants.

Geweldig weekend in de prachtige Pousada van Estoi. Locatie, kamer, ontbijt en diner allemaal echt heel goed. Personeel zonder uitzondering uitmuntend. Echt een aanrader, op een kwartiertje rijden van Faro airport

Entourage prachtig maar slechte service
Entourage prachtig! Service slecht. Airco wel paneel aanwezig op kamer, maar wordt centraal geregeld. ijskoude nachten gehad. Doe je m niet aan dan is het te warm! Bij zwembad meerdere keren geen handoeken te krijgen. 1 grote wasmand bij zwembad met alle handoeken die gebruikt worden. Wordt niet tussentijds geleegt, ziet er erg slordig uit.In de ochtend peper en zout vragen en daar dan een kwartier op moeten wachten elke ochtend weer. Tegen de tijd dat ze ariveren is je ei koud. Personeel die geen engels spreken. Bedjes voor de kinderen erg slecht kwaliteit! Lang wachten op eten indien je besteld in restaurant.

Overall pleasant stay. Not enough staff to service the clients correctly, but they do their best with the small team they have. Breakfest could be improved and certainly the quality of the coffee. On the plus side : the parking and wifi are free. Hotel can use some updating and refurbishment, but the rooms are very spacious and very calm.

- De bereikbaarheid vanaf Faro Airport met de auto is goed te doen (15 min) - In het dorp Estoi is er weinig te beleven - Het ontbijt was goed, maar eenzijdig (de koffie bij het ontbijt was zeer sterk) - De menuprijzen in het restaurant zijn tijdens de feestdagen 2 tot 3x duurder dan op reguliere dagen (3 gangen 20 euro) - Er is gratis WIFI in de kamers beschikbaar - De gym bestaat uit 3 toestellen (all-in-1 pully, hometrainer, loopband). De pully werkt niet en waarschijnlijk is er een lager die niet helemaal goed gesmeerd is bij de hometrainer. - De parkeergarage (gratis) in het hotel mond rechtstreeks uit in het hotel en in alleen bereikbaar met de sleutel van de kamer

Very isolated
It did not feel like a luxurious place except having access to sauna and that it is an extension of the palace. It had a nice view but because of the location there is nothing around the hotel. The room was a good size but the beds were a let down, not comfortable.

Amazing views over Faro. Excellent reception, bar and Resturant service and attention. Carolina’s welcome best we have had worldwide! Lovely clean room with large bed… however had troubles understanding the bath/shower/plug without any instructions and got parts wet that should have stayed dry and had a bath with heel holding down plug etc. Needs a small instruction sticker!

Beautiful hotel but lacking soul
The old part of the hotel is very beautiful but the new section where our room was felt like walking through a modern art museum. While it was comfortable & the service was great it felt soulless . Maybe it’s nicer in summer .
