'Cape Girardeau is about the halfway point for us (Wisconsin) and friends from Mississippi. This VRBO is ideally located within walking distance to plenty of restaurants, shops and bars. Property is very clean, has the basics and communication with the owner was super easy. The saloon-style doors for the downstairs bathroom were a little unexpected, but we made it work. We enjoyed our stay and would recommended this property for a long weekend.'

'I would recommend this home for anyone coming to the area. Great place to stay. Everything you need for a couple days or longer. Close to everything, very quiet neighborhood. Couldn't figure out how to lock the front door when leaving and had to call for help. Return call was very quick. There's a trick to locking the door. Must be one for the dishwasher too because I was unable to get it started when we left. Would definitely stay again if we had a group. Loved the color themes in the bedrooms.'

'Host had the cabin very clean. New leather couch & recliner. Mattress was extremely comfortable. Washer & Dryer were excellent. Another Rental house near, long-term renters were very quiet. Internet not very good in the Illinois woods. Closed cabin has a musty smell from humidity in the woods. Host had an automatic air freshener going to help with air quality.'

'I cannot say enough how wonderful our stay was at Oak Manor. We stayed here for our daughter’s law school graduation and we had 15 family and friends join us. The house was exceptional. So clean and comfortable. We cooked all of our meals together and grilled out on the terrace. The property grounds are wonderful and we spent many hours on the terrace enjoying the views and comfy patio furniture. 'Stayed with a group of friends for a wedding nearby. Property was clean and accurate to the online listing. Wish the weather would have been nice enough to use the pool space! Check in and out were smooth processes and communication with the property manager was super easy. Would recommend.'
