Hotel with poor working AC system, central located
At arrival we got a very small room with no good working AC. After lot’s of discussion we received snotter room where AC is working. But not on a high level. In the lobby AC was not properly working. The bar , lobby and Breakfast restaurant is in the same area . For a suppoost 4 star restaurant not convenient and nice. The location of hotel is central located in town. There is not a proper outside area to have a drink or cup of coffee. There is but in full sun very HOT area. The are building a rooftop bar a very good addition for the hotel.

Not sure if I would recommend it
They do their best but it's just not what you expect of a Swiss bel hotel. Little bit under average. The room didn't looked the same as the pictures. Stains on the bed, wall was missing a piece of wallpaper, mold in the bathroom. They speak a bit English, so if you have questions or requests they can misanderstand you. Had even to bring my own food plates downstairs while I called and asked if somebody could pick it up (don't like having dirty plates in my room). Some food is good and some not in the restaurant, but it's definitely expensive. But breakfast is good. I had to check out early in the morning so I would miss the breakfast, so they packed some food (bread and cupcake) for me on the way to the airport. But it's just way too much overpriced for what you get (stayed in cheaper and better hotels)

Bloccati ad Ambon ed in camera da un volo riprogrammato dalla compagnia e da un disturbo alimentare, l'hotel si è rivelato un ottimo rifugio. Anche se gli arredi sono un po' datati, la camera era molto confortevole, la colazione varia e abbondante, il ristorante panoramico molto scenografico ed il personale (che parla un ottimo inglese) assolutamente impeccabile. Si va sul sicuro qui.

Facilities were clean and staff was eager to help even though most lacked English. This meant that staff might answer questions without really understanding what was being asked.. The area looked rough but I felt safe visiting an all-night at 0300; I did travel by taxi.

We've reserved vans transfer from airport to hotel IDR300,000/car. We stop on the way to drop our equipment approx' 30 min'. The hotel's staff will charge us IDR1,000,000/van. I ask to see hotels' manager. Price going down to IDR175,000./van (we hire 2 vans) Except this guy, all staffs very good. Love morning with BF. If we limited area only in Ambon. This hotel is 5 stars.

Weekend to relax.
We've stayed in this hotel on previous occasions and we must say that's always a pleasure to stay here. Staff always goes extra mile to help you, we don't mind if there's some stains in the carpets or if there's some scratchs on the furniture. Bed is superbely comfortable and breakfast is very rich. I've mention the fact that I don't like instant coffee and staff provide me with a very smooth double espresso. Thank you very much to everyone during our stay.

Good hotel
The hotel is ok: it's clean and the rooms are of a big size. I tried the gym: it's not great and the AC was not working so I was boiling. On the overall however all went well.

Ambon is very basic, and so is this "best hotel" there... Even if the island is quite remote and city small, still disappointed by the room and hotel condition in general. Bathroom is super basic and just beside the entrance door. Shower is without much protection and thus water splashing everywhere in bathroom and entrance area. Room is small, but was quiet and bed relatively comfy. I guess good enough for few days of

Best hotel in Ambon City
Ambon city has many small hotels but this is the only one that comes close to reaching an international standard. The staff are friendly and very efficient; rooms are comfortable, quiet, and ample; the restaurant is good for Indonesian fare. There's a small, one-treadmill fitness, with handweights and two bikes… small but sufficient if you arrive early in the morning. Many nights too there is also music and singing -- Western style done very well by local artists, an unexpected plus.

Nice hotel for bisniss
We stay for 3 days. Hotel location is in the middle Ambon city so very easy to go anywhere.

Clean, quiet stay with view
Comfortable 7th floor room with all the amenities of a good hotel. TV channel selection was good for most international travelers. Wonderful sunset view over city to bay to distant airport and mountains which included night views of Cathedral and Mosque. Buffet breakfast was varied and filling with eggs/juice/breads etc of your choice.

One of the "better" hotels in Ambon
We stayed with our one year old son in swiss bell.There is no extra baby bed so we had to sleep together in the bed ... pretty tight. The room itself was big enough, but dirty and the bathroom was very small. The bellboy and roomboy were ok and helpful.The breakfast staff on the other hand seems a little slow and took away the food even before the time was up. In my opinion Ambon is not really prepared for Tourism, but if you not expect too much and want to stay in the city swiss bell might be a reasonable choice.

객실은 청결하게 잘 관리 되어 있구요 직원들도 친절합니다. 조식은 종류는 많은편인데 실제 먹을만한건 몇가지 없다는게 함정.

Service is excellent, hotel needs work.
The room was in bad shape. The carpet had a dirty smell, the walls were peeling, furniture was in worn condition. Aside from the condition of the room, the bed itself was clean and comfortable. The linens were crisp and appeared fresh laundered. The staff was very helpful and kind. They responded in minutes when we notified them our room safe had malfunctioned with important documents stuck inside. They even offered a "Breakfast Box" for our early departure back to the airport. Hint: use a private taxi as it is cheaper. The free WiFi was appreciated!
