'Very good communication with the host Arnaldo. Easy check in with codes: no keys. The house was very clean. With four bedrooms the house was quite big but very comfortable for our family. The kitchen and furniture are a bit basic, but all new- seems to be recently built or renovated. For shops and restaurants it is a 15 minute drive through the hilly countryside, which was very green and lush when we were there in the rainy season.'

'We wished we had stayed longer. This is a wonderful property, well maintained and the owners are close by. The back yard is beautifully landscaped and offers a full view of the volcano covered deck area and a small pool to cool off in. Beds are comfortable and the house offers everything you could need. La Fortuna is a hidden gem. I have been to CR over 40 times and never made it here. Great restaurants and activities and a wonderful place to relax when the day is over. Highly recomended.'

'Julian was a great host, he was always available and graves the best tips on what to visit and where to get the best deals for local attractions, his home is beautiful a piece of art in fantastic piece of land. Ligging is prima en alles is mooi aangelegd. Mooie zwembaden en genoeg stoelen. Eten is genoeg keus.
