'Second year at this amazing property. Absolutely an amazing home. Outdoor verandah space is just perfect for socializing and our favorite spot in the home. Everything is clean and the owner is responsive and super helpful. Would strongly recommend this property to everyone.'

At first we were taken aback by the location which seemed "way out somewhere" and then no air conditioning but soon fell in love with the home and grounds and the beautiful island breezes that flow throughout the home. We often laughed that to "turn on the A/C" was just to simply open the gorgeous mahogany shutters and let the breeze cool the house - it was so relaxing...what a gift! 'We were at Shell Villa for 9 days with some friends and our infant son. The highlight of this property is its location and its views! Every day you get greeted with some amazing views of either Montserrat or the many sailboats that cruise through. David & Jenny were super communicative and provided us with copious amounts of information to prepare us for a seamless stay. Once on the ground,Clare and Nath were amazing local contacts who went above the call of duty to ensure a memorable stay....

'This was our 5th trip to beautiful Jolly Harbor and definitely the best place we’ve rented so far. The owners answered all of our questions in a timely manner and they have a wonderful manager Jenny who greeted us and was available for anything that we needed during our visit. Everything has been updated and was very comfortable. It’s super close to the beach, everything is walkable but I would suggest renting a golf cart, it makes it that much better. 'The property was amazing, although sort of off the beaten path…but that’s not even a problem with having a driver available anytime. The house was spectacular and Lou (owner) was always a call away, willing to help, pick up groceries, drinks, whatever. The house is probably better than the pictures online. And the pool was a great size! Would recommend The Carib House, and Lou, to anyone.'

'The home was large and comfortable, and we enjoyed several afternoons by the pool watching the hummingbirds — lovely place to sit out. Alastair and Hazel were very helpful and accommodating, we appreciated that very much. The house is in a great central location — close to beaches, grocery stores, restaurants, etc. Along with this proximity to some neighboring nightspots, we did have some issues with noise late at night on the weekends.'

'We had 8 people stay and we had lots of room.. we very much enjoyed the pool and the location was perfect... we were in walking distance to the restaurants/stores and Jolly Harbour beach. We could easily walk and when going into st johns the bus system was very easy to use. I hope we get a chance to return one day.'

'Communication with management was easy and we were greeted when we arrived and given a tour including how to work the gate to the property, appliances, AC units and everything in between. The photos online do not do this property justice, it is gorgeous! The large living area opens with sliding glass doors on two sides on the balcony with seating and dining area, pool and view of Jolly Harbor. 'First impressions- a lovely villa. My experience in this villa was ok. One thing i would say is, it’s FAR! if you don’t mind staying at the villa then it’s fine. So you Do need a car to get around. At night driving to the villa, you have to be weary of the roads as the drivers can be reckless. I communicated with Necole and Tewana who are very lovely people (mother and daughter). 'The inside of the condo is fine / recently updated and staff very friendly and helpful. BUT the condo had not been cleaned properly - previous guest's toothbrush and other items were still in bathroom. The outside is just UGLY and the condo is WAY TOO FAR from the beach. Have to drive at least 5 mins to any amenities and the beach. Jolly Harbour is OK...but would not recommend staying there if you are not needing harbor access '

'Stunning views, very quiet location but close to English Harbour, so plenty of restaurants near by. You can’t beat the views and peacefulness of this place. We had no issues while we were there. The home is very large with three full baths and four bedrooms.'
