'We booked this property with the event of the polar express planned on Saturday. We checked in Friday night and the house was wonderful. I really enjoyed the journal that was left to write notes about guests stay. I thought there would be a lot more to do in town but we couldn’t find much of anything of interest at the time, so we ended up leaving early Saturday evening.'

'Christian was a very gracious host. Her home is very nice, very clean and very well appointed. She really thought of everything that guests could want both inside and out. I met a friend from Pittsburgh here and we spent a long weekend golfing at Cacapon State Park Resort (which was also a very nice place). Christian's home was only ~20' or so away. I will stay at Christian's home again when we meet to golf.'

'We really enjoyed the property. It was clean. Internet worked well. Washer and dryer was nice. Too cold to enjoy the hot tub for me. My suggestions are a new shower head, thank goodness I didn’t have to wash my hair. The flow is too spread out and not enough to efficiently rinse as you shower. Second is a cheaper Kcup machine would be nice. Traveling with ground coffee is not really ideal for a quick trip away. Third thing I suggest is two beach towels (minimum) for the use of the hot tub. 'We greatly enjoyed r stay at this little cottage & would definitely recommend! My husband & I both love the outdoors & took the opportunity to do some hiking at Rocky Gap State Park close by, which had some great trails & beautiful scenery!'

'I surprised my partner with a weekend getaway for his birthday to this little cabin. Even though it rained all weekend, we loved every second here. The covered/screened in porch made it still possible to sit outside, and the view waking up in the morning was just so pretty. The super long driveway was nice to take a walk down as well. Perfect place to unwind. It was clean, and comfortable.'
