'The property was perfect for our big family, big bedrooms with plenty of bathrooms, lovely big verandah with outdoor tables and chairs. Living areas were roomy too. The couple of negatives for our stay were that we had to supply bath towels, the ventilation was poor, having to force windows open for fresh air, and the air-conditioning was unfortunately not working in the lounge area. One other negative was the laundry was only coin operated, which was tricky with young children and staying a...

'It was so close to Paranella Park and so peaceful. I slept really well and Peter was a lovely host. Interesting, a good conversationalist, helpful and thoughful but also gives you your own space. '

'If you love nature, you will love The Canopy! We spotted a platypus on the first day and a cassowary on our way out! The birds are beautiful and the turtles plentiful. The staff were kind and helpful. They even built a fire for us on a cool day. Loved every minute of our time there. '

'Fabulous place, decor, atmosphere, people! So glad we stayed here instead of Atherton. Quaint Norman Rockwell setting. Owner went out of their way to make our stay superb. Attention to detail in and out. Great recommendation s for area as well. '
