'We were there for 11 days in early May, the weather was about 10 degrees cooler than Fresno for our entire stay (about an hour away). It's close (1-2 hours if you take the north vs south route) to the Sequoia parks/forest, and there's a big cat sanctuary a few miles up the road. The house itself is pretty simple, but did have basic essentials (oil, condiments, several seasonings, popcorn, granola bars, coffee, tea)- enough to get you started on day 1. 'Gary and Kimberly’s place is fantastic! Beautiful setting, great location in Oakhurst, close to Yosemite and Bass Lake. It was a pleasant surprise to find such a beautiful and well furnished place to stay. The facilities were great, and it was like a home away from home, and in some ways even better. We were all impressed at the thoughtfulness that went into making it such a pleasant place for guests. Nothing but kudos for this cozy family home. Highly recommended!'

'We verbleven 2 nachten in sierra meadows om Yosemite park te bezoeken. Helaas was de South Gate dicht wegens een bosbrand dus was het wel wat verder rijden om er te komen. De huisjes zijn zeer netjes en comfortabel. Het is een kleinschalig park op een groot en rustig terrein waar de lodges op staan. Het zwembad is dan ook een stukje lopen, (maar er zijn gratis fietsen beschikbaar) en is helemaal prima. '
