'Our first impression was disappointment. No Pics of the outside I assumed it was a house. Old Motel. Neighborhood had run down houses nearby. BUT during the weekend found out that it was actually a safe area according to locals. The Motel interior was remodeled and very clean. Pros: Clean! Comfortable bed Quiet area Cons: No place to hang clothes No coffee for the coffeemaker (owner provided next day though. No bag to bring home dirty clothes.'

'Stayed here as a last resort on the eve of the solar eclipse. Check-in was easy. Kitchen was well-stocked with an oven and pots and pans for making a real dinner (lasagna and vegetables from Dollar General) and breakfast to save money on eating out. Main room was spacious. Beds were firm but our family prefers that. An extra bed was provided beyond the two queens which was an added bonus to keep the peace. Would stay there again.'

'I have never stayed at a place where the owners were so attentive. Even if they were very busy. Everyone who worked there stopped to talk to us. Friendliest people ever!! The lake was great. We rented a boat and that was great. The attendant there was so helpful. They took care of everyone with a smile. I would definately stay here again if im in the area.'

'It was in a rather run-down neighborhood, but there were no signs of vandalism or graffiti around. The motel was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Once i had the manager's email, communication was easy. When I told her the fridge was not working, a new one was there the next day! I would stay here again if travelling to this area.'

'Great place to stay! Clean, great location and great customer service ...this isn't my first time staying here ... the guy that owns this place is soooo nice friendly and caring he cares about everybody's stay being the best it can be ....and will gladly do anything to make your stay as good as possible .. the rooms are spotless and super comfortable the beds are very plush like and comfy as well ... definitely recommend staying here and the price is Great for the customer service the...

'The owners communicated well and were very nice. The room was clean with plenty of space however amenities were limited. No hair dryer, no kleenex, the heater/ac was noisy and the room needed a ceiling fan to keep the air moving. Hot water was only lukewarm and it took forever to warm up. The fridge and microwave and coffee maker was much appreciated.'

'There was a person driving around the room with an ATV after dark. PIT BULL DOG IN FRONT WHEN WE WERE READY TO LEAVE. We gave at least 4 hours notice of our arrival but the manager was 30 minutes late for our check in. Need shelf in bath room and a table near the closet to set luggage. '
