'Melrose Mansion is a great place to stay in, if you are visiting New Orleans. The rooms are very nice and spacious and have a great look & feel. Our room was very clean, which is quite important to us. Across the street is a bar, which sometimes had some loud guests, which is the only downside we can think of. The breakfast is sufficient and the staff is very kind & helpful. The pool is a nice addition to the overall stay. Highly recommended!'

'This was our 3rd time in NOLA, but our first time not staying on Canal Street. This hotel was superb. The location is great. It's a 5min drive to Bourbon St and about a 15 min walk. It was away from all the noise but still close enough to enjoy the action. Hotel staff was friendly, our room was clean and the complimentary breakfast was wonderful. This will definitely be my go-to spot whenever I'm in New Orleans.'
